My parents came down to visit me and we decided on a little camping/kayaking adventure in the Olympics. The Pathfinder was loaded up with enough gear for 4 adults, one dog, and two kayaks. The vehicle worked great! I'm definitely itching to do some more updates/upgrades, trying to hold off until fall and winter though. Parents next to the load out! Getting up to elevation. Cool side view. Tire carrier + heavy drawers (need to rebuild) + gear and the truck levels out. I'd like to lift the rear up more to compensate. At camp. It was fun to see the Pathfinder loaded out! I enjoy these short trips because it helps me practice planning/packing for future trips.

dang.. it's weird because I can see them all. I haven't built the driveshaft yet, but I'm confident it won't bind. The front will more than likely get a CV joint by the axle and a cardan joint at the tcase.

I guess it’s all about what you want. Some of the Toyota guys I know avoid body lifts as much as they can and just cut cut cut. Throw in a diff drop and cut some more. I think they’re trying to keep their centers of gravity as low as possible, they’re mostly worried about suspension clearance and then let their armor take care of their body clearance issues. But if it’s about nailing down the correct look than ya you’re gonna have to throw on an SFD. SFD equipped pathfinders are the best looking rigs around

The only way to get more lift on an R50 front end is a subframe drop (SFD). A few people have made kits in the past, and a couple guys on here are working on a better version. It's simple in theory (spacing down the subframe and the strut tops), but it looks like getting the angles right so you can align it afterwards is a bit tricky.
