I play lots of live games like tourneys at the casino and such but the past few years I got bitten by the online poker bug. My crew of buddies, we all play online and between the 5 of us, we've won a total of over $100k in the 3 years we've been playing online.. Not to mention the free Carribean cruise my friend won when we won a $35 buy-in satallite tourney to get to play in the WSOP the year before last. vengeful Posted August 22, 2006 Share Posted August 22, 2006 My father and I joined a No-limit Texas Hold'em tournament for CCFA. $75/head buy in. 200 people started out. Neither of us had actually played Hold'em before. We both finished in the top 10. It was fun. Free food and drinks during the tournament. I must've eaten/drank at least $75 worth of stuff. LOL.
