One guy had a 98 TJ and the screen shot he had showed it out putting information on oil pressure, speed and other assorted things.. does yours do this? Where did you get the parts for your cable? RowOSU Posted February 25, 2005 Share Posted February 25, 2005 So did some more research after studying last night.. 96 & newer have the OBDII connector (all vehicles from 1/1996 on I believe) and through that connector the computer has a list of parameters it is supposed to output such as engine speed, coolant temp.. here is the list of generic parameters all OBDII computers are supposed to output http://www.autotap.com/generic_parameters.asp here is a couple screen shots from one of the programs http://www.autotap.com/autotap_for_windows_screenshots.html Pretty complex program there.
