RedPath88
Local Schucks Auto Supply listed prices varying from something like $8-$20 (bearing only) depending one which one you need.. there were a couple sizes apparently and iirc around $30-$35 for the entire pulley w/bearing. Precise1
New belt, belt tension, belt dressing. Try any of these? B
adamzan
Just for the record belt dressing is only a temporary solution. It shut my a/c belt up but then 2 days later the belt flew apart while i was on the way to a midterm exam. Needless to say I spent 45 minutes unraveling tiny strings of belt from my fan clutch and shaft, and drove it to a gas station and borrowed a knife. NOT fun in the cold Canadian winter! RedPath88
Then the belt squeal was not the problem, it was the symptom
Slick
if you need a pulley, i have another spare..............
Precise1
Just for the record belt dressing is only a temporary solution. Depends on the condition of the belt and WHY it was squealing. If it is just a glazed belt, a dab of bar soap works well, just be careful getting in there!! Then the belt squeal was not the problem, it was the symptom Well said.
