Well, looks like i have to trim the rear fender a little. I haven't road tested it yet, but i love the flex. A little bummed i've gotta trim the fender, but what can you do? I don't want to tear the thing off in a pinch.

Well, i got to drive it around a bit today. I didn't notice any negative effects. I might be imagining it, but the ride seemed a little plusher? I may re-install it though, i'm not thrilled about having to trim those flares.

your not the last i still have mine i think theres just a little too much body roll then im comfortable with i have the fron off and when i know im gonna be hittin a rocky trail i just disconnect one side and it gives me the flex and keeps it outta the way

And guess what? You won't be the first to put it back on. Little red was missing hers when I bought her. I replaced it. No sway is great offroad, but I prefer with sway for street driving.

I took mine off recently and noticed the same thing, like it doesn't seem so rigid over rough patches in the road. Mine will prolly be staying off (since I broke one of the links while removing it) until I get around to making some trick disco's. Hey, weren't you going to come up with those Martin?

I had both sways off the old truck for a long time, and got used to it. The new truck still has both on. I'll be removing the rear one for sure, as I noticed I would hang a tire in the air FAR earlier with it on than I would with it off. I think I'll leave the front one on this truck though.

Yes, and I still will! Someday.... The goal is to have them be able to be engaged and disengaged from the cab... even while rolling. B and I were talking about one method that would work.... but I think it would have cost a lot more than most of us would want to spend. So the challenge/solutions continue to churn in my mind. I think I have one figured out that could be manufactured in small lots and sold for under $100 but need to prototype it and do some real world testing. I'm supposed to be getting my pathy back this weekend (been on loan a few months) so who knows... it may even happen this year!

If my Pathfinder and I are still alive, count us in! That would be cool, if it isn't too complicated. I like simple and clean.

Disengaging might be doable using a pair of Bear Jaw door latches for suicide doors. Getting the end links to swing back up into the latch...I dunno. Plus you would need a way to keep the swaybar from rotating down... Nevermind, I think this might be best left to you and B.

technically, kings rear sway bar is disco'd.... (i busted it).. but it's still "there"... been too lazy to remove it. it just sits back there broken, squeakin away.... it'll be removed before the engine finds its way under the hood i'm sure....

If I can still maintain control of my truck at 75mph, with a full load in the rear and have to switch 3 lanes of traffic quick as a snap.....I think you'll be fine without too. Actually, it never felt at all loose in the emergency manuver at all. I would advise taking it easy on a long or sharp turn, but atleast the Police won't bust you for 3 wheeling a sharp corner because the stupid sway bar is pulling your inside rear tire off the ground. That "more plush" ride is the lack of sway bar whiplash.
