Precise1
Yep, the 94 is a good deal (once inspected). The lifted one for $4500. LMAO, keep your silly rims and tires ($2k worth!!) and I'll give you $2k for it... B
GrimGreg
The lifted one for $4500. LMAO, keep your silly rims and tires ($2k worth!!) and I'll give you $2k for it... It also lists the tranny as an OD tranny, they didn't add that till later models. So it is either a swap, or the guy is full of it.
88pathoffroad
You could get the RE4R01A in an 87. I saw that Pathy the other day at DQ and put a note on his windshield telling him to come on over to NPORA and say hi. It's a real clean Pathy, the frame's freshly painted and everything's real well taken care of.
GrimGreg
You could get the RE4R01A in an 87. I thought the 87s were 3 speeds? Anyway, it was an 88 and yes you could get the RE4R01As, but they weren't an OD tranny in 88, just a 4 speed.
88pathoffroad
I beg to differ, my dear sir! According to the FSM, third gear is 1:1 and OD has a ratio of 0.694:1. All the RE4R01A's are OD trannies AFAIK.

barthel
Not to fan the flames or anything, but I have an 88, it has the RE4R01A and it's an OD.
89_trailboss
87's are three speeds. 88+ are all 4 speeds and vitually identical.
GrimGreg
I beg to differ, my dear sir! According to the FSM, third gear is 1:1 and OD has a ratio of 0.694:1. All the RE4R01A's are OD trannies AFAIK. AFAIK they weren't listed as OD equiped until 90+ when they added the electronic OD selection. I don't know what the 4th gear gearing was or if it changed with the electronic selection. But, yes, a ratio of <1:1 is an OD.
