Those rims are nice and all, but there are much cheaper options. They cost AT LEAST 250 a piece new. And I would definitely do the seafoam. I did my first one at 120k and it's never ran better.

oooh the restart grind...makes you feel kind of awkward doesn't it? I am almost positive there is no 'safety' built in, as the start cranks the engine a lot slower than it idles, so it just grinds some gears.

Are you sure your clutch isn't slipping? What happens when you accelerate hard on dry and flat ground?

I would never tow 5k with my manual..yikes! I think you are looking for something like some OME springs. They provide minimal lift (1.75" I believe), but there will be very, very little sag with the medium coils in the back. It's about $240 shipped for the set of 4 springs, which is a VERY good deal.

Aluminum isn't as strong as steel.

They will, fit, but there will be rubbing. If I were you, I would go with the 32's and a 3.75-4" backspace rim.

I'm not really sure what you're pointing at, but here, use my picture: The plastic piece you are missing is called the fender trim. It's actually pretty expensive from the dealer. I ended up doing without one of my bumper sliders and it's just fine.

It looks like you have it pretty well under control. Are you doing the lift yourself or are you having a shop do it?

I stuck 31's on mine with the stock SE rims. The clearance between the the tire and the spring makes me a little nervous (about 2"), but I will be lifting it soon.

I actually took the runners off the roof and ran the wires under that.

Yep, although they are a good deal longer than the stockies, they are short enough to fit in the same place.
