  1. I use a Rola rack, a little small but it does the job.
  2. I wasn't aware you had an R50...sneaky sneaky.
  3. I grabbed mine from the local junk yard. Or you can look on etrailer.com.
  4. I have a pair of the PIAA 210's sitting in my garage waiting to replace my factory fogs. They are a bit on the expensive side but they are much, much better than factory. If you are looking for a cheaper option, check out the Hella 550's. They are bigger than the stock ones, but the put out a lot more. If you are just looking for a replacement, check out the KC 26 series. All three will fit in the stock location.
  5. I actually got excited. What are you doing with that science experiment in the armpit of America? Oh, and to the original poster - nobody has ever heard of anyone completing a SAS on an R50, but a few people are rumored to be attempting it right now.
  6. The truck normally sits with about a 2" "droop" in the front for optimal handling. A popular option for leveling out your truck after a lift is either a 1" or 2" spacer. 1" is much more popular and is better on you suspension in the long run. As for sagging, your truck will look like it has 3" of lift after installation, but after a few months the springs will get broken in and will be closer to the 2" of advertised lift.
  7. Maybe it's a radiator bracket? It's def not a bumper bracket. You should make this into a game show!
  8. Wow I wonder what other parts of her life are getting overseen.
  9. BEIJING, Feb. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- U.S. TV reality show host and car-building legend Boyd Coddington, died at age 63, according to media reports Thursday. The news was released by his La Habra-based company, which said that Coddington died at Whittier's Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in the morning on Wednesday. Born in Rupert, Idaho, in 1944, Coddington was a farm boy who devoured auto magazines and dreamed of creating his own custom cars. Coddington started to build cars in his home garage when he was a 13-year-old. His first big hit was a streamlined makeover of a 1933 Coupe that won the Al Slonaker Award, one of the most prestigious prizes in hot rodding. With his standard of workmanship and creativity approved, he won the "America's Most Beautiful Roadster" award seven times and twice won the Daimler-Chrysler Design Excellence Award. Coddington created the TV reality show "American Hot Rod" which aired on the Discovery Channel from 2004 to 2007 and introduced the West Coast hot rod guru to the whole nation. The New York Times has called Coddington "indisputably the best-known and arguably the most influential professional builder in the field." Coddington is survived by his wife, Jo; three sons, Boyd Jr., Chris and Greg, and grandchildren. The cause of death is still unknown at this time. It's a shame, I remember interviewing him over the phone for a school project when I was younger. Such a great guy.
  10. Re-added myself. That would be sweet if every member of NPORA was on this!
  11. I just did a quick estimate with fedex and it will cost approx. $650 to ship.
  12. Didn't realize there was a difference. I replaced my front end. Bumper, filler, valance, hood, headlight, and corners were replaced and I banged out the dents in my hood. I would have just had to replace the headlight, corners, and grill and I would have had a badass bumper instead of a stock valance, filler, and bumper.
