If you look it up on NHTSA, then you will see the official recall for those questioning the validity. http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems...ecallsearch.cfm

I cant bring my pathy in until freakin November 6th. The corrosion is caused by salt on the roads from states that have heavy snowfall and it is only on these years of pathys because they were not adequetly coated with rust preventatives. The recall doesn't start until November and the states that are include are: Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia. If your seatbelts are loose as well, they have a lifetime warranty. In related newsand in response to navygz19's post, Nissan recalled mugs that it handed out during a promotion that had been painted with more than 30% the allowable content. Nissan claims it didnt know who made the mugs, but I think I have one guess

My Short Ram Air Intake Configuration (1996 Pathfinder)

Personally, I would like that the canister is in the engine bay...it's much easier to work on. -
My Short Ram Air Intake Configuration (1996 Pathfinder)
NismoSkyZ replied to brerben's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
These are some pics when I first did my intake. Now, I have a K&N, the hoses fit better, and the heat shield is more than a piece of sheet metal. All I used was one of those "spectre" ricer intake kits, a hacksaw, some of that rubber tubing, and some creativity. Very easy to do and it sounds awesome. I noticed a very meager 1-2 mpg increase and a little more pull. -
No product was offered and honestly, the whole operation did not give me a trustworthy image that I would be willing to spend hundreds on.

I got mine done at Auto Truck Outfitters on 202 in Glen Mills. They guarantee it for life. There is a good place on Baltimore Pike as well, called Trek. They do a great job, but their prices are a little high. Auto Truck Outfitters is worth the drive.

Just make sure you pull out the hazard, defrosteer, and cig lighter plugs too

I had all my windows done with 15 for $200. Not worth doing it yourself.

I highly doubt that it would fit height-wise, but the rest of the dimensions seem okay. Huge sub box?

I Don't Have A Hitch, I Want One, What Do I Need?
NismoSkyZ replied to lyzic's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Hehe...this is what hitches do...my pathy likes mercedes: Anyway, I picked up my hitch from another pathy from a jy. I only paid $40, not including hardware. Just make sure to get strong blots and it takes not time to install -
Just build your own. I rigged up an intake from one of those ricer tube kits from auto zone and I threw a K&N filter on it. There is a little more power, not exactly noticeable, but the real change comes with the sound. Even without an exhaust, WOT just sounds beastly.

Ten oil filters for $50 isn't a good deal.

I'm betting on the starter from said story.

I actually swapped my tails for newer ones. Just make sure they have a narness (most do) and it plugs right into your existing harness. There is a different tail light design from 96-99 and from 99.5-04. If you are just looking for a stock replacement, you cam use any 96-99 light.

You shouldn't drink and drive. I think we scared the guy away. -

I think they work just fine. -
http://www.yotatech.com/showthread.php?t=1...t=deckplate+mod You could just deckplate the air box so you don't get crap in there when you wheel it.
