Guys the only bulb that can safely go Into the oem reflector housings is, unfortunately, a halogen bulb. Hids in stock housings are blinding and glaring no matter how you adjust them. Factory hid projectors have that "crisp" cutoff line for a reason - so that no light goes above that line and blinds oncoming traffic. Plug and play led bulbs are also a bad choice, and have been proven to throw less light down the road than normal oem.halogens. leds will appear "brighter" but actually have less output, and have a terrible failure rate since becoming popular. Using leds or hids in reflector housings is just as bad as using the popular led light bars and pods as aux lighting on public roads. The only proper way to improve your headlight output is, as posted, upgrading to a higher quality halogen bulb (silverstar, zxe, night breakers), or do a proper HID projector or led projector retrofit. To access the ebrake wire in the vehicle, remove the center console and splice into the wire at the ebrake connector at the base of the handle.

id electrical tape the hell out of all those connections and then heat shrink them just to be safe...

I have been searching for some kind of wiring guide for a while now. My terrano projectors came without bulbs or plugs, and the switch I posted with a harness. Getting the headlights to work shouldn't be abig deal, but I really want to figure out how to make the leveling switch function correctly.

usually pressing lock 3x will start an aftermarket remote start system from a factory oem remote control

i see these topics all the time but never remember to post a response. If you are changing your radio, the best thing to do is upgrade all the speakers adn ditch the bose blows crap. In most bose equipped pathys, there is a bose amp in each front door for each front speaker, and a single driver side rear quarter panel mounted blows amp for the back doors. bypassing these amps couldn't be easier...you simply can jump the inputs to the outputs. When you unplug the factory radio, find what colors go to what speakers (easier by plugging in an aftermarket nissan wiring harness, metra part # 70-7550). Write these colors down...i.e. Front left-blue/orange, etc. Pull all 4 door panels and remove all speakers. IN the front doors, at the bose amp (small box attatched to the speaker mount) look for the wire colors for that speaker that you noted behind the radio. cut these wires BEFORE the bose amp, attach new speaker leads, and plug them in! Viola! amp bypassed. For the rear amplifier, do the same. track down the factory output wire colors, jump them at the amp to the colors of the rear door speaker wires, adn done. Your sound will greatly improve. I highly recommend installing a 6.5" seperate (component) speaker in the front, with the 6.5" midbass in the door and a tweeter in the a pillar. A great sounding cheap set would be Pioneer TSA-1605c.

they are advertised as fitting 2001-2004, but they fit my 97 just fine, hook into the clip on the driver floor, and say pathfinder on the front ones.

if you have any 12v wiring experience at all, its not too difficult. 99% of the wires are under the driver side dash at the ignition harness, and at the secu (security control unit) to the left of the steering column. Tach signal is underhood as well as hoodpin.

lock the doors with the remote, wait 30 seconds then open the door if the horn starts honking and lights flashing you have an alarm. Hook up arm/disarm if you want the factory alarm to work with the remote. that unit should have negative door lock outputs already no need for relays...almost all of your wires will be at the keyless/security module under the ds dash to the left of the steering wheel.

kenwood navigation units use a garmin nav

nothing is impossible, certainly not this just not worth the time and effort first of all the oem gps antenna is built into the car, and does not usually work with aftermarket style gps antennas. The oem nav needs to see vss (vehicle speed sense), brake, ebrake, and other signals, many of which may be altered by computer control, making it difficult to just hardwire these into a new vehicle Unless the altima came originally as a radio delete car, chances are the factory radio is not a true double din size, requiring extensive modifying to fit (although it would bolt to the stock brackets no problem) There are many more reasons not to undertake something such as this With those dodge radios they were just am/fm and cd or tape source, not a touchscreen with navigation Aftermarket is waaaay more upgradeable than oem any day of the week Aftermarket will look better, sound better, and generally work better than an oem unit (even though most are built by the aftermarket companies) People always spend too much time trying to integrate factory equipment into older vehicles when a much cheaper higher performance solution is readily available. End rant PS sorry just got done working a 17 hour black friday and a loooong saturday

it will not fit even close, it will not be anywhere near plug and play , and it will be waaay more effort than it is worth. Trust me don't even bother. A brand new higher end double din gps can be had for anywhere from 400-800 that will have dvd, usb, aux in, bluetooth, and better than oem nav. Older brand new models are the best deals, check out pioneer avicx910bt kenwood dnx6160 alpine ina-w900bt

yea that is definitely an aftermarket starter kill.... try one of these combinations.... turn the ignition on (2 clicks) and hold that button in for a few seconds turn the ignition on and off and then hold the button in turn the ignition on (2 clicks ) and press the button once or turn the ignition on and off and press the button once if any of these result in the led lighting up solid, the unit is in valet mode and shouldn't arm itself on you anymore like skulptr said you would really need to dig around and find the brain, which is mostl likely right up under the driver side dash, to find exactly what model alarm it is and find out how to permanently disarm it, or just pull the power fuse going to the brain if you find it

where is this button you are pressing? that led under the security light is definitely aftermarket, although could be dealer installed in the aftermarket 12v world a rapid flashing led usually means the aftermarket alarm is self arming, or passive arming itself, but it also sounds like you could have just a basic starter kill installed

your truck comes stock with a transponder immobilizer system, which is a chip in the key....so that the vehicle can only start with the matching chipped key this is always enabled whenever the vehicle is not running if you have an aftermarket starter kill installed, there would most likely be a small toggle switch hidden somewhere or it could be wired to an aftermarket alarm system

they will fit...i ran 15x7 2001 x rims for about a year with 31s' and no lift on my 97 xe

yes, i believe it started in '01, but i could be wrong. For a vehicle with a chipped key you incorporate a bypass module, which is either a spare key in a box or a keyless box, into the remote starter so the vehicle sees the chip when it starts.

i used the generic order form and just put in 1997 nissan pathfinder xe and the seating options (manual levers, no lumbar, no power, seperate headrest, etc etc). If you search the pictures on the site there is one of a first gen r50 with flower covers on it. They dont stock the covers for our pathys but they will still make them, just make sure when ordering you fill out every field so they know the specs of the seats you have. also in the picture search for pathfinder they show seperate covers for the '96-'99 and '00-'04
