93xe

So i replaced my hazard switch with one unccpath sent me (thanks btw), and now i only have a left hand turn signal, no right, no hazards. When i try to signal right, i get a buzzing noise, and when i hit the flashers, nothing. Before i go and tear more stuff apart, anyone have any advice or clues as to what it could be?? thanks

tried that today, no luck...and i checked all the underhood relays, unhooked my foglights, stereo, gauges, almost the whole dash, it is a little more delayed now but still goes through fuses, gotta rip some more interior out tomorrow after work and do more searching

nope...hasn't been touched in almost a year...i know its a short i was wondering if anyone had any ideas what else is inline with these components before i go buy a shop manual...

so i start my truck the other day and have no tach or hvac controls...check the fuse labeled "meter", put new one in, keeps blowing almost instantly. Thought maybe it could be the hvac controls, but if i turn on the ac it doesnt go instantly. So i thought maybe tach, but it pops the fuse without starting the truck. Anyone have any clues?? I dont have a haynes manual or anything, does anyone know what else is inline with these that i could check, or what relay they are on?? thanks in advance, not having tach is fine but no ac is killing me

they are usually vacuum locks...which is why when you pull/push on the d.s. lock the others follow...adding a single actuator on the d.s. will allow all to lock/unlock

if you add a single door lock actuator to the drivers side door all doors will lock/unlock...actuators cost around $25 for a decent one and takes about an hour to install with basic hand tools

if its the older generation neon, go to one of the rear side windows and push it down, it will go down about an inch and a half, then go from there

as a stereo installer i would have to recommend alpine pioneer or panasonic for radios...if it is a double din (2x regular) sized radio you just need to buy a pocket and mount the new radio and pocket to the factory brackets...speakers i would say infinity reference (swivel tweeter) are awesome for the price...circuit city sometimes has them buy one get one half off...or alpine speakers

actually, circuit city will have the correct wiring harness, a metra Nissan 1763 harness...which with some very slight modification will allow you to retain the factory amps. *Hint* it involves the remote turn on wire and power antenna wire....pm me for more info

i got my '93 xe for $2000...manual tranny, manual locks, manual windows, 98,000 miles, some rust...other than that perfect...just look around

Is my '93 XE prewired for foglights from the factory??...i purchased some Hella fog/driving lights and am planning on installing them within the next day or so. I havent checked to see if there are wires already or not...does anyone know? Not a big deal if they arent, i was just wondering. Thanks.

i read somewhere that there was a recall on pathy manifolds and Nissan will warranty these and fix/replace up to 100,000 miles...is this true? I am at 99,200 so i am going to try to bring it to a dealership...anyone have more info on this? Thanks in advance

Hi all, i am almost done installing my audio system in my '93 XE and i was wondering if anyone makes a cargo cover for the back so i can hide my subs and amps from prying eyes...i have checked all over the internet (jc whitney, performance products, ac, etc) but no luck. I am looking for a grille guard or safari bar (safari bar preferable) for my '93 xe, but the few that i have found are waaaaay to expensive or not available...i was told that smittybilt makes a combo grille guard/tube bumper, but everywhere i check it says not available for my year Pathfinder...anyone know where to get one? I really do no want a full brushguard, just the center grille guard section, but a safari bar would be great. Maybe custom made...anyone with welding skills? Thanks in advance
