  1. the search button is your friend (though...in summary...) the thorleys are made better. the pacesetters are less expensive the thorleys don't advertise that their headers will fit on a WD21 w/ AT though some have reported that it's not an issue. Most installations have reported problems with the EGR tube fitment or crossover pite. ceramic coated is better than not (but expensive) I have a set of pacesetters in my garage that I have yet to install.

remove the E-clip from under the dust boot in teh cross member. That'll allow it to slide backwards
  3. then TORCH THE PLACE (and dig a pit in the basement)
  4. aah. That explains it. I really like the TA/KO's. They still have a lot of tread and they've been daily driver since I got them and have had several trips on the rocks
  5. I did that once but it unplugged. Maybe if I tied a loop or something.
  6. I had mine looped around the tire carrier when I was up at the lake. Forgot. Yanked open the tire carrier and pulled another 3 feet of wire through the gasket. I was sure I screwed the pooch but it was fine.
  7. I have BFG TA/KO's and they're a bit noisy on the road
  8. check your harness connections also. I had a loose connection in mine. Amp was fine.
  9. back to about 17mpg without dragging the boat. Usually get just over 300 before I start looking for gas.
  10. that somehow sounds a bit perverted but I'm not sure why
  11. my shift levers get kinda hot too but I've never thought much about it. Of course, I just went through having to put out a fire in my carpeting caused by excessive heat.
  12. ghosts. glad to hear she's runnin again.
  13. I have the harness that plugs inline behind the access panels at the rear lights. I leave it tucked in there until I need it then I just lay the flat wire out the door and slam away. That's what gaskets are for. Never even dented the insulation on the wires.
  14. is it roomy? I hear Pezzy is lookin for a place to stay
  15. it's not a cracked manifold problem.. the problem is that the studs that hold it on are prone to breakage thus leavign a gap between the head and the manifold.
