  1. OFRK: Summit racing: P/N: (Perma Cool kit) PRM-10695 I paid $45.88 for mine (I have a '92 so P/N's should be the same) rear main seal: Autozone P/N: RS40628 $11.99 T-Bars.. here you have choices... Calmini seem to make the best ones.. Valve cover gasket: Kragen Auto Parts P/N: VS50251R1 $43.99 (pair with grommets) The body lift.. i guess ac or somewhere... I really wouldn't be able to recommend a place as i do not have a body lift Valve cover gaskets are rubber... use the blue gasket sealer.. put it on the actual valve cover where the gasket will go, and apply liberally! don't be stingy! rear main seal.. not too hard... almost self explanatory once you see it if oyu really need all the dirt and details i can provide them.. but would rather save some mileage on my keyboard..lol oh........and GOOD LUCK! -study- oh yeah.. cv joints can also be obtained at Kragen here's my OFRK....

  3. welp.. i run 2.5" pipe and gained HP....... when i ordered originally the borla system.. summit knew i was in CA.. then i get it and it says NOT legal in CA... wtf ever... i spent almost $700 between my thorleys, and having a brand new HF cat, and Flowmaster 50 series run through 2.5" pipe (I installed the headers0... it was soooooooooooooooo worth it!! -bounce- -bounce- zoom zoom
  4. yeah.. that would suck... if i get 1 injector.. i know me.. i would have to have all 6...
  5. i have been a VEERY tired puppy lately and dave is afraid to get wet in the rain..... now it ahs cleared up a bit he may venture out of his box
  6. :o did you steal my pathy??? *raises brow* ok. same here with symptoms. It could actually be running LEAN also. I know when I took mine for a smog check my timing was at 14... now.. if I could ever find what it's supposed to be at.. the smog guy said it was 1 degree out.. so i am assuming they are set at either 13 or 15.... fat lot of help he was.... also.. check your charcoal cannister.. this is what i will be doing tomorrow... as we have the same year/pathy and close mileage.. we can work together to figure it all out. My biggest suspects are injectors or something related to timing or vaccum. But you are not using any extra coolant? hmmm... does your gas mileage change from week to week? ine does.. one week i got 190 miles to a tank (driving it a little bit harder than normal) then the following week i was abck to 275-300 for the tank... frustrating isn't it? Also.. i put 20/50 oil in her this time. Funny thing is my pathy runs great..which makes it more frustrating.. will let you know my findings tomorrow.. i also need to do a compression test.. UGH!
  7. lol. yeah. ah well... the thought was there..hehe
  8. i have a 5 speed tranny
  9. the answer is NO. I tried to replicate the sound of my Iroc camaro (V-8) to my 92 S-10 pickup.. and lemme tell you.. $560 i got reaaaaaaaal damn close to it..with twin pipes flowmaster delta 3 muffler and HF cat.. sounded real gooood, quiet, with that low grumbling rumble and deep throaty sound upon acceleration. As with my S-10, i wanted to produce that soudn with the pathy. I did not quite succed to reach that awesome sound but i got real close. I installed the thorley headers, HF cat, flowmaster 50 series muffler comin out down under the back tire (see pic)... she has a nice rumble on start up and low (under 2800rpm) rpm shift changes.. over 3,000rpm she gets that wicked higher rumble and when i shift she gurggles/rumbles with the rpm drop and sounds turbo charged!! it's pretty cool. It's not loud so as to be annoying, but yes, people will hear it and they will look. it is quiet enuff on the freeway so as not to drive you crazy. if i had the devices i would video it driving down the road and at idle so you can hear it. i love it. no ricer sounds here! -bounce- oh yeah! and 2.5" pipe all the way through
  10. lemme see.. bought the pathy with 114,000 on her 2 yrs ago... has 137,000 now.. so that's 23,000 i've done since i've had her and brakes are still good. thinkin the front or rears are starting to need attention.. i have to check this week. stopping a little "pedal soft" nowadays... dunno when the PO did the brakes...
  11. i have a black bar just ike that one .. i was gunna flip it upside down to look like the one pictured... hmmm.. now i know what'd look like..i may just go ahead n do that...and it weighs less than 15lbs so no saggy front end (hell..already have one!) sssh *grabs pen & paper n starts designing locations*
  12. i like the part that says..after of course you spend all your money on their gear...... max tire size: 31x10.5 ........ummmm..dudes......that's like..ummm...STOCK size.....so..ummm..what yer tryin to say is....
  13. Besides the smell of gas in your oil (as I have) does your pathy have the following: 1) is it smoking? if so, what color, how often, and when? 2) what year/mileage is your Pathy? 3) have you noticed any changes in performance/gas mileage? 4) how bad was the smell? and how did the oil look besides? 5) did ANY of the plugs come out with oil on them? (my #6 does) 6) Are you using excessive anti-freeze/water? answer these few questions so I can help you better.. and in the meantime check this discussion out.. read EVERY post because it also discusses my issue which is similar to yours but with added issues.. to which I am suspecting the fuel injectors. Also, if you can, run yer ecu codes. I still have to run the codes for the moving vehicle part of the ecu tests..kinda hard to do with just me, myself and i..lol http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=7078
  14. on #7 may i suggest a sawzall? trim the fenders down a bit.. not too much.. then place the fender flares slightly higher on the newly cut fender
  15. i have always left my motors running when i clean them.... haven't killed one yet... but i also don't "blast" them with a hard shot of water.. just enuff to get the mud out (after prepping it with some tlc and a warm bucket of water and a sponge)
  16. mmmmm... well.. anyhoo.. yeah.. mine look like the pic mz posted...
  17. :o i would head straight down to firestone and the crap outta someone... but yeah.. in reality a compression test would be wise first
  18. i cheated... i changed my clutch while i had the motor out
  19. check yer idler arm..could be worn out or the bushings maybe... does it squeak or clunk? you checked all possible joints/bushings? did you do the wd40 test? spray one thing atta time with wd40.. if that part stops the squeaking then you know what it is... keep doing it until the squeak stops.. then you have found your problem one part atta time though!
  20. wow. your visor is much nicer than mine... mine is starting to curl n peel at the bottom... and it now has a mudmashers.com sticker bang smack in the middle...
  21. your pathy needs an exorcism i fear.... :Magic:
  22. my rear wiper n stuff on my XE don't light up either.. but my fingers know exactly where to do the walking... as for footwells.. blah pooey.. i don't want to find the cigarette i just dropped! :o
  23. perish the thought of ever allowing anyone but myself (ok.. dave maybe) to change my oil is unthinkable! hell.. even with $12.. i coulda bought a bottle of jack n got drunk waiting for every last drip to come out of my pathy while in the comfort of my own driveway

    spare tire mount

I had the spare tire underneath on my S-10...... what a PITA first off.. really hard to get the tool thingie through the hole and aligned to drop the tire.. then you have to crawl underneath anyway to retrieve said tire... needless to say the first time i needed the spare was the last time it went underneath my truck... i would keep it inside or on the roof.. but not underneath... especially if you plan on going off road... you wanna lay inthe mud to get yer tire? i sure wouldn't! my .02
  25. that's the color i want!!! i have only seen that particular shade of green on 92- i think -95 pathys here...
