I actually do like that shade of pink.. looks like it has some pearl in it.. but i think ida reversed the colors.. so there's mroe white less pink. then i would take it to the rubicon and make it look like a REAL jeep sly

I did most of the con in my Jeep and i have to say i saw a LOT of idiots who were just out to break their rigs and cause havoc.. tossing beer cans and garbage everywhere.... no wonder trails got closed and no more overnight camping by the lake.. really pees me off. it's the stupidity of the few that screw it all up for the rest of us

i feel your pain there. trails (even the rubicon) are having trails shut down left n right around here... it sux but if everyone doesn't "tread lightly" we will lose it :sniff:

ok. so i fatrted around for 2 days pimp shining stuff and painting.. so the motor is now a couple days behind.. and it's sposed to rain for the next 2 days.. BUT! here she is yesterday. Today is put the heads and intakes on day. getting closer.... dave honed the cylinders for me (i am not safe with a gadget that has 3 legs and is run by a drill) and it's lookin goooood -bounce-

when i ordered my thorleys last eyar they gave me a ship date of jan 21st.. i got them just after new years. i had ordered them just after t'giving.... summit rock! we use them a LOT. even for stuff i know i could get cheaper somewhere else, i would rather pay for the right part, on time in good shape with great customer service

-bounce- thanks to filthy luker who ran a carfax report on the VIN supplied with this motor.... I AM KEEPING IT AND IT WILL BE INSTALLED AND RUNNING BY THE WEEKEND HOPEFULLY!!!! -bounce- -bounce- the vehicle has never failed smog and was in a crash just after its last smog in 2001 so I know it was't all burnt up. I took the oil pan off yesterday and it looked good in there. Heads off today. I will post pics tonight. Just FYI... i RETRACT (at elast for now) what I said about N.O.W...... the motor has been sitting since 2001.... no wonder itsa mess. Block should be painted by today sly

my XE has pretty much most of the bells n whistles... no leather (thank god!) no volt meter. no cruise control.. but that's about it......
