  6. sly practice makes perfect. as you go along you'll figure out what can stay and what can't.. the intake can DEFINITELY stay, as can the valve covers. the only use of having the valve covers off is to loosen the rocker bar for ease of cam adjustment/maneuvering.
  7. that sho is shiney! but yeah, i'm gunna have to agree with sammy on this one... kinda useless.
  8. thomas is right. only 1 & 4 are TDC on these. sounds like you've made progress and enjoy the new car.. but watch fer cops sly
  9. am i missing something? *waves bushwacker flare under vox's nose*
  10. pfffft.. ya don't need fender flares........ just grab a cut off wheel n whack the end of yer exhaust off sly
  11. my other pathy came with *coughs* "BIG" tires..... i had no choice... and personally..... i think it would look totally ghey with anything smaller...... however, a lot of expense and some L & P upgrades will help that. sly now. in my opinion. THESE are big/HUGE tires (they're 42's on Dave's bro's K5)
  12. good god. it appears ALL those vehicles were done as a joke. that is awful..... can yo imagine what MY 2 pathys would look like if i had THEIR money to build them..... *sighs*
  13. i don't like the look of them, and they are 55 extra lbs hangin off the back.. so i sold both carriers...this will give you an idea of before and after. mini me is on the left and king caca on the right.. i sold king caca's carrier too now.....

atta boy! (man) see, all it took was a day in the slops for her to realize what an uber important piece of equipment a snorkle is now go get that snorkle before she changes her mind! :cool2:
  19. i run 10w-30 all year round but temps only range from 25 degrees to 117 all year here in my corner of cali
  20. *clears throat* welp, i found it much easier with the motor out. i have changed the RMS while it was "still in the motor" but the second time i took the whole housing off and pressed it out n pressed the new one in on the work bench. It can be done with the motor in, but boy i would NOT want to try it..... i changed the TO bearing while i'm in there and cleaned my bell housing.. shot RMS's sure do make a mess of things!
  21. hey..... i think dr ruth ROCKS
  22. i would've done it long ago if we didn't have these nast little smog laws and yes, a couple peeps have done it and the posts are on here somewhere..... *goes hunting*
