  1. No, not often, but sometimes. First thing is check the ECU codes, there is a write up in the Garage/How To section... B
  2. First check the ECU for error codes (write up in the garage section/how to) and see what it says. If nothing, then clean the MAF and check the connection/wires. If that doesn't fix it, check the O2 sensor for resistance (1-1000 ohms) but I better look that up to confirm. Check all vacuum lines for leaks and let us know where you are with it... B
  3. Damn, that gave me a nose bleed just looking at it!! B
  4. I believe just the bearing can be replaced also. At least that's what I did with my D720 and I thought the pathys were the same... Glad it wasn't the TB, just figured it was worth mentioning... LOL, bad k9sar, bad!! B
  5. Thanks!! Yep, I'm pretty sure this is the one I was thinking of... http://www.300cforums.com/forums/general-d...-dissected.html B
  6. My guess is that they are horribly overpriced. Shop for adhesive hooks and various cheap backpacks and rig up your own... B
  7. There is a web site that someone did exactly that. I'm pretty sure it was linked here. Good info and a good read, I'll have to see if I can find it... B
  8. K9sar and someone else reported a whine from the timing belt from over tensioning. Yes, brass screws, they are the ground contact. Sometimes it 'fixes' the problem... B
  9. Try Rob Lacy (Alkorahil) for a discount... B
  10. Yes, it does. $50?? That's insane!! I'll sell you one for $40+shipping... JK The ones I have do look used (weathered) but I'd bet it would just match your other one. I need to update the part out thread tonight, so make me an offer? Need anything else to throw in the box?? B

    HELP!

If it fried the tranny brain? The tranny shifts via selinoids, but the shifter arm should atill move... This sounds like a VERY good idea!! B
  12. Here is some rim information, make sure you don't pay more than you have to, especially for the identical item... http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=23593 B
  13. Sue there is!! Right above the menus and below the header with the name of the thread. "Poll Options Click here to manage this topic's poll " Don't worry, we'll catch you when you fall... B
  14. X3 The cheapest Arco 87 octane I can find with an occasional dose of Lucas injector cleaner (usually when I see it on sale for $5). No problems, no worries... B
  15. Hmm, this seems to be the first post. I guess the first one I quoted was the same day... Wow, I posted in the intro section first and promised to search before asking. What happened to the kids these days??? B
  16. ^x2!! Thanks for the update/solution, I'm sure you will have helped quite a few people with this information!! B
  17. The gasket compressing/degrading/hardening, heat/cold cycles combined with valve train vibration and minimal torque... I just know they do 'loosen up' and to check the fasteners occasionally. It's that way on every car I have ever worked on other than air cooled VWs (they use a bail to hold on the valve cover)... B
  18. A bad O2 doesn't always trigger the CEL. Just the way it is... B
  19. Champagne pathy with black Cragar 'soft 8' 15x8" rims and 31x10.5" BFG MT KM2s http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?s=&amp...st&p=429486 B
  20. Good. Finally!! You have learned a few things along the way... No problem Bud, that leaves more pathfinders for the rest of us. But out of consideration, I promise to tow you out of ditches when you are stuck and give you a ride when the jeep dies on you... B
  21. Yeah, like Dave said!! Hell, if you were local I'd sell you a good tranny and help you put it in... Look for a wrecked truck and do the swap... B
  22. Oh Crap!! I'm very sorry!! I would be quite upset also... Ok, pathy aside, I'm more concerned about you and the others. Good luck and quick healing is what I say. Two points, how does someone without a license or insurance drive a 2002 Dodge truck around? Are they at least being held in jail?? Also, maybe not the time, but I thought someone in AZ was selling their truck now... The good news is that there are plenty of WD21s around for when you are ready. Best wishes Bud!! B
  23. ^exactly, thanks for defining it. B
