  1. Try to find a donor first. $400 can be better spent than that... B
  2. Glad it was easy and thanks for the update... B
  3. It is only 4 bolts to remove the driveshaft and the U joints can be a PITA so wait until they fail befoe replacing them, is my recommendation. DO lube them though... B
  4. If that isn't dealt with already, there is probably enough left in the fund to cover ground shipping... B
  5. By saying this, I know you are full of crap... B
  6. Yes, as far as I know. I plan to swap my manual and auto drive shafts (new uni's in the manual) so if I'm wrong, we are in the same (but opposite) boat... B
  7. For a minute I thought this was a thread about Nissyota... Make sure input and output shafts spin, the seals aren't leaking everywhere and maybe drain the oil to see if any bearings or chunks come out... B
  8. Are you sure it isn't the pads vibrating?? Do you have the antichatter shim or break pad quiet installed? Are the pads tight in their mounts or is there play so they can move? Do the mounting surfaces seem worn or rounded? is there a piston ring worn on the back of the pads? B
  9. Check for stuck caliper piston or slide pins, bleed the brakes and check the wheel bearings, I bet they are a little loose... B
  10. x2 As was said, intake/free flowing exhaust will help some. What transmission do you have, what size tires and what is your driving style like?? B
  11. LOL, that was going to be the next suggestion. The angle and placement of the connector seems to cause problems. Lets hope that is all it needed, but if it begins to stumble on you again, you know right what to mess with. I have a TPS that is acting up the same way (it affects idle though)... B
  12. Sorry, I don't have the answer but I will move this to the specific forum for your year pathy. That should help generate the correct answer. Good luck... B
  13. Yeah, pretty much what he said. Don't be afraid to use something like dish soap or simple green or something, just rince it well afterwards. I have had to clean them because they got so nasty, you couldn't read the level... B
  14. Damn, that's a new one!! Only things I can even guess at is that the thermostat is vibrating due to the coolant flow or even less likely, the waterpump bushing is squealing a little but you are hearing it through the hoses (water transmits sounds extremely well)... Or, your friggin Pathfinder is posessed!!!! B
  15. Damn!! I'm not ready yet; the pathy will be torn down for the timing belt (and other things) that weekend... I don't know about camping though... B
  16. Black wall them, it looks cleaner by far... http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?s=&amp...st&p=429486 B
  17. Precise1

    No start

If nothing else shows results, pull the starter and have it tested... B
  18. Must be strange not having to track the toilet when you pee... NO PEZZY!! You don't normally have waves at berth in the harbor... B
  19. No, actually, I missed it... HOOTUSES!!! Wait, is plural Hooti?? (cactus/cacti) *confused* B
  20. liquid detergent + powered abrasive FTW B
  21. I'm not going to worry about it. I'd say these are rare and unusual accidents, my guess is there is lower hanging fruit to be had... B
