  1. It'll mount up, but there will be a massive gap between your grille and the bumper. They are designed for the 99.5+ R50s, which have a different grille design.
  2. HOly cow.....those guys needed a couple of fat guys in the back! LOL There's another video on there, and in the desc. they say it's running a 1.7TD.
  3. If you want it to look halfway decent, and not ghetto-rigged, go with a commercially available one.
  4. That's an understatement! There is ZERO room in the fender...LOL.
  5. Oh, don't be silly Dean...you know you want to swap out your H233b with a 9.75" ring gear for a Ford 9" or Dana44 so you can run the Auburn locker!
  6. Or, you could try and find a WD21 LSD Chunk in a junkyard or on eBay or something, and scavenge the friction disks from it, and stick them in your LSD. That would make it basically a spool, and you'd be pretty tight in the rear end. I'm going to be installing a modified Frontier Desert Runner LSD in my Pathy in the next couple of weeks. I'll let you know how it goes. 420 ft-lbs of breakaway force should be enough to hold me over until I can save up for the ARB, no? LOL.
  7. I've been wanting to do something similar for a while now, but just don't have the money, and don't have the need for a dvd/navigation system. I've been trying to figure out where to mount a decent 6" auxilliary screen to run with a couple of cameras for different purposes.
  8. We can already upload and share pics and information about our trucks here. Why do we need to join your forum? What does your forum have to offer that this one doesnt?
  9. I use Mobil 1 Extended 5W-30 with a Wix Premium Line 10,000 mile filter. I change the oil and filter every 7,500-8,000 miles. I wanted a longer oil change interval, because with the full skidplates, it's a real pain in the ass to drop them every month to change the oil.
  10. The ring and pinion gears were reverse cut on the high-pinion axles.
  11. It's just a sticker that goes over the brake light. Literally costs them 20 cents to make.
  12. Or, keep the Pathy and buy a Rabbit - they're pretty cheap.
  13. That's the biggest issue with his speakers. Coaxial speakers simply do not have the ability to reproduce that many ranges of frequency without a crossover. Components are much better at that. I am finally 110% happy with the sound and capability of my stereo. Head Unit: Alpine CDA-9855 Speaker Amp: Alpine MRP-F550 4-ch Amp Front Speakers: MBQuart QSF 216 Nano Components Rear Speakers: MBQuart RVF 216 Components Subwoofer Amp: JL Audio 250/1 250W RMS Mono Amp Subwoofer: JL Audio 12W3-VIII Audio Processor: Rockford Fostgate 3.SIXTY.2 (I know I know...I a REALLY good deal on it.) Custom sealed enclosure 130sq ft of dynamat...everywhere. The 3.sixty gives me 2 presets, one with the subwoofer on, and one with it off. Even with the subwoofer off, the bass response from the speakers is acceptable. I can also control the output volume of the subwoofer amp from my head unit for when I really want to hear it pound.
  14. They're not hard to do. You can get a full set of inner and outer tie-rods for both sides, with boots for about $160. I had to replace both the inner and outers because the adjuster nuts had siezed on mine, and they could not be separated.
  15. Homeboy needs a girlfriend!

  16. It's 15 months, to be exact, but who's counting...LOL. My situation right now is such that I can't really commit to anything that far in advance.
  17. Those are the correct part numbers. You can use any air source as long as it's regulated to between 90-105psi. 105psi is the absolute maximum. The Patrol uses a H233b front axle with a H260b rear axle. Not interchangable.
  18. Yup, pretty much what I just said mz...
  19. Once I can afford them, I'm going to be ordering a set of the 170 Strikers (cuz the 240s wont fit on my bumper) from Slee.
  20. But then you have to consider the cost of installation (which is recommended to be done by an ARB Authorized professional, as the diff casing has to be drilled to allow the air lines to pass into the differential), as well as the air system. You're looking at a good $2,500+ for both lockers installed.
  21. Probably right about 100lbs. It's not overly heavy, but not exactly light either.
