  1. linky Thinking something like this? Comes with doublesided tape, but i would use jb weld or duct tape.
  2. Nissan played the commercial in one small market with the intention of pulling it. Knowing the media would cover it, they get thier name and the name of the car in every newscast around the world. Pretty cheap advertising if you ask me. Oh yeah the S in the C girl's phone starts ringing again for some new work! Everybody wins. CONSPIRACY!!!
  3. That leaves me with two questions. actually 3 1) Sometimes we hook up with a buddy 90 miles down the road. All interstate with the exception of 5-10 miles. Would that kind of road trip be detrimental to a welded rear end? 2)Right now running an open differential, but have a spare LSD on a parts car. Which one should be the guinea pig for a welded rear end? 3)how much advantage can the LSD give the Pathy over the open D. The reason for the question is that it's been posted that LSD is useless if a tire leaves the ground. Thanks.
  4. usa American Woman - Guess Who uk Back Home - England World Cup Squad 9 months B4 I was born it was Sugar Sugar - The Archies  My parents are so gross! Oh and a little more trivia, The Beatles broke up on my 1st birthday!
  5. Ha! I've been using a wire brush since the purchase. Close to 2 yrs now. I must be the cheapest guy on the board!
  6. That's even better than what I do. I park next to the entrance of the overflow parking lot. Very visible from the window where I work. Anytime a chick comes in from the parking lot I let every body know they are checking out the chic magnet. What's a little embellishment? Now everybodys in the habit of yelling out hey Dan another chic is checking out your truck! That code for hot chick walking by.
  7. here's a link If you go to the advanced search enter "cb radio" (include quotations). Check any date, there are a number of post on this subject. Daniel
  8. Snap ring link I'm confused where exactly this snap ring came from. It looks similar to the snapring that keeps the wheel bearings from popping out. If that is the case the wheel hub and bearing lock nut should go on before the snap ring. Take a look at the link, You may be refering to a different snap ring. My apologies if I'm wasting your time.
  9. Mine does the same thing every once in a while. Must Uninstall and Reinstall. I thought MS discovered I was a pirate!
  10. That's got 2 be like slick tires in wet grass stuck right?
  11. Like the stripes! Should be hard to scratch.
  12. What was the fluid level before changing? If level was low this could be a problem that may not result in permanent damage. Watch your fluid level every fill-up and try to determine if you have noticeable leaking. Reverse going away and coming back is not a good sign.
  13. My wife and daughter have zero interest in off-road experiences. Any suggestions in how to get them interested? They prefer the Mall. Welcome and am looking forward to picking your brain like Casey said!
  14. Hey VW, I don't have any suggestions but am curious to know if you tried both boxes? Do you get the same result with either box?
  15. If I must tell the story! Going fishing pulling a small alluminum boat. approaching the red light the boat passes the truck pulling it. Some bonehead didn't lock the hitch. The tongue hits the curb and bends 90 degrees. We walk it to a Pizza Hut parking lot and try to straighten the tongue w/ the help of a light pole. Tongue breaks in two. Solution attach the two pieces of the trailer tongue to a 2" dia. pipe approximately 3ft long. Do you JB weld or Duct tape the trailer tongue to the pipe? The duct tape will hold for approximately 1 mile! I will save the rest of the story for later just to keep it interesting. Duct tape beats JB!
  16. Got in a fist fight over which is better. Duct Tape or JB. Everyone knows Duct tape is better.
  17. $40 in gas. $960 in Beer! All serious, Rough Country UCA's and TB crank, Shocks all the way around. 2" BL and pay someone to do all the labor it for me!
  18. No not at all. The Auto tranny is the logical option. Dr. gave me Celebrex for swelling and Cyclobenzaprine a muscle relaxer. The Celebrex was working within a couple of hours. I could feel the pain subsiding. Last night took two muscle relaxer, didn't need them but it was legal. You have to take advantage of these opportunities. sly Slept really well and feel like Superman today. Just some slight tightness in the leg. In the Pathy I moved the seat way up so I don't have to extend my leg fully to engage the clutch. That helps a lot. Now the steering wheel hides the top of the Speedo and the Tach. I catch myself driving to slow. Getting old is something you have to be good at. I'm not that good at it!
  19. Sam's club usually is few cents cheaper. Installation is always cheaper.
  20. Last May I hurt myself cutting up with the kids. This caused me to have shooting pains from my lower back down to my left calf. Being somewhat tall and really lanky lower back pains come and go for me. This one never went so the Doctor got to meet me today. She says it's a pinched nerve. gave some some drugs for pain and swelling. She didn't sound to encouraging and flat out told me the NFL career dream is over. She did say that the swelling should eventually go down but would likely reoccur when aggrevated. For the moment, the sharpest pain is when I press the clutch and look left. That hurts like a mother. I'm looking at the clutch and the accelerator and beginning to think it would not be impossible to switch the two. It will be a lot easier for me if I clutched with the right foot instead of the left. Has anyone ever seen this done on any car before? I've seen handicap drivers who apparently had no foot controls. It does sound dangerous if not professionally done. Might be fun to park it in a lot popular among car thieves and video tape them attempting to steal it. It would also insure Wifey will never drive it. All kinds of advantages.
  21. I took the same short-cut your buddy did this weekend. I went on the conservative side and put a screwdrive in each hole and tighten to a mild grunt. No tapping with the hammer. This short-cut may have the opposite affect and allow the lock nut to back out. This is a stupid question, but you did turn the rotors right?
  22. I'm surprised not more people are saying Isuzu Rodeo. From the back the tire carrier opens opposite. otherwise pretty close. There are a ton of Isuzu Rodeo's in south Louisiana. Maybe not so common in other places?
  23. Don't get too bent out of shape about it. It will be pennies on the dollar compared to the knowledge base you now have access too. Welcome and please post pics of your ride. Have you named her yet?
  24. I used two screwdrivers. the holes are opposite one another. just turn left, it's not tight. That is on an '87 or '92. '95 might be different
