I don't know the mileage on your vehicle but, you should replace your cap, rotor, and spark plug wires if you haven't already did so. You should also replace th PCV valve as well. Oh oh, and other big factor, is your Oxygen sensor. Replace that as well. There's not much you can really do to gas mileage really. If you still have the auto locking hubs up front, I'd recommend that you replace them to manual locking ones. It's been said it'll help you get some mileage back.

Really need her running right for tomorrow... I gotta make it school and go for a long drive for Army stuff...
-
I took apart my plug to clean the contacts on the wires when I should've done it one by one. Now I don't know what order they go in. I need her running so I can go to school tomorrow! Would someone be so kind and take a picture of their plug with the rubber cover pulled back so I can see what order it goes in? A diagram would help too! TIA

Pathy lagging, how to increase horsepower, pick up
Cuong Nguyen replied to a topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
A K&N filter will help you with giddy up. better throttle response. If you just changed plugs, I suggest you change the cap and rotor and the plug wires. Plug wires--get some magnecor or some 8mm ones or just stock ones--7mm. The rattling is possible those heat shields on the exhaust manifolds. Just remove them. -
I need to get around and adjusting the prongs on the maf sensor plug. The sputtering is becoming a nuisance.

What speakers to buy and how to replace rotors
Cuong Nguyen replied to a topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
The topic is covered in the Garage section. It's 5x7 front and rear. I don't know about replacing the rotor but the process shouldn't be hard. Grab yourself a FSM or Chilton's or Haynes and start learning -
Buy my L&P Centerlink and you shouldn't have to worry about it going bad on you ever again
-
I never heard of it. If it's similar design and material like the K&N, it should produce the same effects.
-
I ran the K&N stock panel filter replacement and I noticed a better throttle response vs the paper filter element. I know upgraded to the JWT Popcharger. I'm keeping the stock air box and K&N just in cause I decide to go fording in deep water.

I hear corn oil works pretty good

Yes it'll work. It's the same thing as AC sells.

The lockers for sale that I posted was a bud in Cali. Those are the ARB lockers front and rear. Will require hoses and onboard air to operate them. That guy must be smoking crack. I'll take a Locker over LSD anyday. The downfalls about having a locker on the highway is the vehicle tends to fishtail? under icy, snowy, and very wet conditions. Also you lose your turning radius, and the tires tend to wear out a lil bit more. LSD has a similar effect only when both tires are firmly planted on the road. When one tire is off the ground or not firmly on the ground (not the same load as the other tire), the tire on the firm ground has a tendency to slip a little. Reason it slips is because an LSD is a clutch pack type of unit. Spline count is the number of splines on the ends of the axle shafts inside the axle housing. Our pathfinders have a 31 spline count as opposed to the newer frontiers/xterra that have a 33 spline count.

What Rancho RS9000x shocks for 7" lift ?
Cuong Nguyen replied to q2h's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I think that's no way possible with the current setup -
congrats on your purchase

is the whole left side leaning to the left? if it's just your front end, then you might need to crank up your torsion bars a tad to level it out. if it's the whole left side, then the rear coils are sagging and so are your torsion bars up front. I think it's kinda normal that it appears like that. I know mine kinda did when I first got mine.

JEEPS...coming to a mall near you.

Don't forget to upgrade your steering linkage system when you go throw on the meats. 35s are doable. You will need the 3" BL and 3" Suspension and do lots of cutting. 3.75 bs is the best BS. I have the 4" BS and it rubs the compression rod mounts on the frame with my 33x12.50s.

I'm getting ready to have a set built and would like to see some ways to have it built
-
Well the the current speedo reading says 168,xxx miles. I haven't considered all the free miles I've gain since I put on the 33s

actually ceiling mounted speakers in the rear started in '93.

There's a couple that use the taurus fans. They pull mad air! You will need to use a 30-40 amp relay with it since it uses a lot of juice. 88pathoffroad has a Quest fan in his Pathfinder. I have a Quest fan sitting here if you want it. Other options are the 16" fan from the auto parts store. or the Nissan Altima fan.
