  1. Oh, forgot to tell you... the pathfinder caught fire.... eh. haha. Well I managed to remove the bolts that attaches to the Tcase flange. How am I suppose to remove the TC bolts from the flex plate/flywheel? Don't tell me I'm suppose to remove them through the starter....
  2. well, this pathy is up in the air on a jack and jack stands. didn't have any tires either. I'll see what I can do...
  3. haha. that thing didn't seem to budge! I'm going to see if I can find a 13mm for it. How do you keep the front drive shaft from spinning?
  4. I got the bolt out with the long extensions. I didn't think at first it would fit but it did. I did the same for the other side. I'm I'm having one hell of a time trying to remove the front drive shaft. Any ideas? It is a 14mm or smaller? The 14mm feels kinda loose on it.
  5. Yeah, i got the start bolts out and the starter out of the way. I'm just having a hard time getting to that one bolt--"bolt that is down the side of the starter between the bell housing and oil pan".
  6. How do you guys and gal get to that one bolt holding above the oil pan where you have to remove the starter to get to it?
  7. ^^^ that's what my friend told me about the brake booster. I'll check for leaks and will pull the MC out and see if.
  8. It's confirmed via Mr. Reverse that the MC is bad and most likely the booster as well if it's been leaking for a while. Anyone have a mastery cylinder and brake booster for 4 wheel disk pathfinder?
  9. I'm pretty sure my brake booster and master cylinder are bad, but would like to know more to confirm so... I didn't really notice the problem until I started bleeding the front left brake. All I got was bubbles and lots of it trying to bleed. I eventually saw bubbles come up in the brake fluid reservoir each time the brake was pumped. I also see the booster move forward and back when pumping the brakes.... someone help me out... I'm having the worst of luck here with my disk brake swap...
  10. congrats! You'll love it like all of us did!
  11. damn... too many damn problems with this install. I guess I'll have to extract it out...
  12. My parking brake on the rear right side was missing the bolts that hold the line to the back of the mounting plate so I took a bolt out of the left side. Too the point, I snapped the bolt. Would one bolt in be sufficient to hold it in place?
  13. seems like the oil seals are a dealer item as well.
  14. w/ swing out tire carrier, roof rack, step rails extra speakers, but yeah same stout truck lOL
  15. yeah I called around. THere weren't many disk brake rear ends made and the demand for them wasn't as high the aftermarket company didn't bother to mess with it.
  16. lower tire pressure. more contact with ground.
  17. are the parking brakes (emergency brakes) for the rear disk axles a dealer only item? I can't seem to find them at the auto parts store.
  18. Calmini is currently working on a coil and coilover setup for the W/D21 chassis similar to that of the Xterra SAS. It is said to be released by spring/late spring.
  19. The actual kit for both platforms has not been released, as of yet. They do, however, list some of the main components of the kits.
  20. They have super fast shipping and well as top notch customer services! Also you get discounts and incentives everytime you purchase from them. As far as the "no lift kit" they're probably referring to the trailmaster lift perhaps?
  21. The shackles are very sturdy. It's been test and the same design has been used on the suzuki and isuzu variants for some time now. I've already ordered the parts. Probably the first to take the dive as well.
  22. What's so scary looking about the shackles?
  23. I copied Mr. Reverse's idea. Hole was drilled through the light and into body. I'm not sure if I used a grommet for a body or sealed it with silicone. Anyhow, coax is ran along the passenger under the carpet and trim panels. Then it hooks up to my Radio Shack CB in the lower DIN. Perfect fit and screws right into the stock location.
  24. I've ran 15x8 wheels with 4" BS. If you're running 33x12.50 MTs, the inside tire outter lugs will catch the compression rod mount and full steering lock and under compression with the tires turned. I have pictures on my Car Domain so you can get an idea. I can't remember what the BS on the legos are.
