  1. Interesting. Perhaps bad ecu or short some wire in the wiring or main harness junction.
  2. This is what I could find. I cannot seem to find any info for a cable driven speedo.
  3. Well the speedo gear is what's connected to the rear side section of t case and it directly attaches to the back of the speedometer. I can only assume for now that the code I am getting for the vss is the revolution sensor on top of the t case.
  4. The power light flashing for 8 seconds like you see in the video means the transmission is I fail safe mode: 3rd gear no matter what shifter position it's in. Now that I remember, I think my speedo cable pin had cracked broke a long time ago and I had to superglue it back together to get it work again. It looks like I might have to get a new one or pull one from the pick n pull. The tach works fine since I replaced it with one from another vehicle a long time ago.
  5. I'm confused now. I have a code for vehicle speed sensor so is that the little electric sensor on top of the t case? My 93 has a cable driven speedo.
  6. The problem has resurfaced. Speedo hasn't worked since I got the transmission together. I was getting the flashing power light on start up. Odd sputtering and bogging and now it won't start. I pulled codes from the ecu and got a code 14: vehicle speed sensor. I have not pulled codes from the tcm. Yet.
  7. Something is not right. Either the arms are built wrong or your frame is bent. You shouldn't need longer bolts even at stock height unless you have your thing maxed out. I think they're M14x1.5. 50mm is stock I think do you would be good with 60-65mm You'll need grade 10.9 and can be found at your local hardware store or fastenal.
  8. Do you have stock arms still? Is your torsion bars cranked up for lift or stock height? Yes you can get get longer bolts if needed depending on above answers.
  9. Does it sound like something got sucked up in there
  10. I think you installed an ARB bumper from a hardbody. The hardbodies sit about 2 inches taller than the pathfinder.... Now if you had a 2" body lift or 3", the hardbody ARB bumper will fit without issues.
  11. I have never done it nor have I tried it with ATF. I would probably go with ATF over seafoam though.
  12. Yeah I plan on it in the future. My main focus is to get it streetable and pass inspection first before diving deeper. I have an old set of 44044 leaf Springs that I may try out to bring the height down some. I don't like being tall as I get way too tipsy.
  13. What year is your pathfinder? You should have one I would think.
  14. Rear end lift us complete. Wheelbase is definitely shorter now.
  15. The front sway bar does the most work so if what you say is true, I would start there. The rear sway bar is not that great on the xterra and may not work for the pathfinder.
  16. Thanks for the info! My cover is broken and the bottom half with the metal plate is jamming up as well so that is another issue.
  17. Mine works fine too even with it adjusted loose for the lift. I installed one of the rear springs yesterday hoping to level it with the front. Looks like I might have to swap out the springs in front or build a bumper level it out.
  18. No problems. Life is more important than sitting behind a screen lol. I'm starting to wonder if the locking pin issue is related to my steering column adjuster not locking in between the low and high position.
  19. You really don't need to unless this is just a street rig. You would be better off suited with better performing shocks and or stiffer springs.
  20. ^thanks! I still need to lift my rear. Or swap out the front leaf springs in hopes of lowering it some.
