  1. An issue I found was that for some reason the plastic steering column covers were binding up against the dash. I am not sure why. Does anyone have this issue? I ended up taking out the metal weighted plate to alleviate the problem.

  3. There's also another amp out in the back as well. I think back left cargo area next to the door lock timer I think. I could totally be wrong as it's been a while.
  4. Can you stuff the tires up front or does it still hit the fender well?
  5. Sounds like a faulty combo switch. You could probably remove e it and clean up the contacts
  6. The ecu does get a signal from the temp signal. As the engine gets hotter it increases the fuel. It almost sounds like an injector issue. Didn't you say you had issues with rat chewing up wiring? You can check the injector cycling by turning the ignition on, pulling the dizzy out and spinning the dizzy gear to verify the camshaft position sensor along with the injector function. Next guess is a vacuum leak issue. Lol. I had a similar thing happen. Engine runs fine when cold it once it warms up it misses and stumbles. I found out that one of the vacuum hose going to the carbon canister was not hooked up. But this doesn't explain the intermittent issue.
  7. Definitely a transmission issue. I would look into the troubleshooting steps for the transmission.
  8. That you are right. My case in a different car I think I warped something.
  9. Sorry i thought I had posted this in the original response Hope it helps. Good luck! http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/37076-air-injection-valve-aiv/ http://www.autozone.com/repairinfo/repairguide/repairGuideContent.jsp?pageId=0900c1528004f3b7
  10. You also checked the vacuum hose on the fuel pressure regulator too? It's in the far back near plug since too.
  11. Alternator would not do that since if it was bad it would be running directly off your battery but still run fine before killing it. Anyone codes? 02 sensor? Ignition Timing? Vacuum leak? Air intake leak?
  12. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?/topic/39631-auto-/-manual-transfer-case-interchange?
  13. Leave the O2 sensor. Don't mess with it. It'll cause you running and fuel economy issues.
  14. Check the fluid color and smell. So Check if you have enough. I have seen low levels an do what you are experiencing from 1 to 2
  15. I liked the 9000s when I ran them. The ability to adjust the firmness is a big plus in my books. Warranty is decent too.
  16. It is my understanding they are.
  17. I've flooded cars but not trucks. Similar concepts. You got the right idea. Pull the fuel pump fuse and disconnect the power lead for the distributor. Pull spark plugs out and turn the engine over. Replace oil and filter. Check radiator to make sure headgaskets didn't blow. Make sure oil isn't milky.
  18. Failed inspection again. This time I need the exhaust tail pipe to exit behind the cab. I have a turndown coming out of the muffler under the cab.
