Interesting...That actually looks simple enough to make...Thanks!

Or go aftermarket style on your gauges...My cluster is all jacked up...Temp and tach dance wildly at will...Fuel and Speedo work just fine...(I hope) haha

Mine started doing the same thing. Definitely was not prepared properly, and either sprayed too thinly, or the mix was off. I am not going to worry too much about it, since it is an old truck... But it certainly bothers me...every dang time I look at it.

I had to take some material out of the top hole towards the rear on my install as well. Used a die grinder, and a dremel...worked out great... But I must agree... Calmini stuff is WAY over rated.

Okay, where is this manual hub thread...I have been unable to find it... I too have a bead on some HB hubs, and I have no issue replacing axles as mine are shot anyway... So my pathfinder has 28 spline axles... Will a 94 HB have 27 or 28 splines? Gah this is frustrating.

On my 95 the points are pretty beefy, but had to use a sawzall to cut the dang rear mounts off...those suckers were on there...I guess my question is are you going to be driving a lot of highway/freeway miles or plan on going offroad? The SB's sure do cut down on the articulation...IMO

K&N or similiar air filter onto MAF question
tmoore4512 replied to ahardb0dy's topic in General Forums
Autozone...about 6 bucks. Had to mod it a tiny bit to get it to work...the holes did not line up correctly otherwise. The "mount" to hold the filter up is just a piece of a tool box lock that I cut down and bent. Worked, but eventually will replace it with something more appealing. I got the filter from ebay as the AZ Spectre HPR filters are like 19-49 bucks...Got it for 9 bucks shipped from ebay...works like a charm and have cleaned it 3 times now...use a K&N filter recharge kit... -
swapping maxima dual cooling fan to pathfinder?
tmoore4512 replied to ahardb0dy's topic in General Forums
The Taurus fan came out of a 90's model (93-4 IIRC). It is a single blad, but the CFM is very high. During testing, it about lifted off the shop floor and went as far as the jumpers would allow before the power was disconnected. I cannot recall the CFM's off the top of the my head...but it REALLY works...just make sure that it is a 3.8 cooling fan, NOT the 3.0 motor. Two WAY different cooling fans... -
Acetone can be WICKED! And the fumes...wow...good luck man...
-
I bought new struts from AZ one day for the glass...still haven't swapped them because they are certainly NOT factory replacement...am going to have to mod the fire out of a mount for them to work...figures...

swapping maxima dual cooling fan to pathfinder?

Yep...it can be done and has...I had one laying around the shop, and intended on using it...but went with the Taurus fan instead...more CFM's IIRC. Go for it. -

howling noise ,very loud, behind and below idle pulley

Yep same issue on mine...was an easy fix. I thought it was the water pump, but I did the same thing Ultra did, and was quite relieved to find that it was the idler. Good luck -
Dude level your truck before cutting...they should NOT rub at all if it is leveled up...as already stated a hundred times, most pathfinders came with 31's...

At Autozone the CV axles carry a lifetime warranty...so if it happens again you just gotta go through take off and re install...no need to buy again...

I have tried to tint on my own several times...and always leave frustrated and with not tint at all on my windows...I have a ton of patience, just not when it comes to that, because I am a perfectionist of sorts. Oh well... I have also seen defroster repair kits...it is essentially a trace pen similar to the ones used to repair damaged solder traces, works the same, and well it actually works according to what I have read. Good luck bro.

Man where are all these wicked tire deals around here? Haha...good find bro.

Man, I feel your pain...I used Goo Gone and it helped a lot...but it is tedious!! The tint shop guy told me he would do it for 20 bucks...almost wish I woulda taken it to him instead...since time is money and all...lol

AT&T does not cover my area very well, so the iphone is out. All the guys I work with for the most part have droid's, and they love them. Just finished installing everything for the mount...PITA but it works. Go here for pictures info Laptop mount

Man, I would probably buy the whole dang path if the locals had any around here. Strip it, then crush the rest. Have a slew of good parts...sweet.
