  1. Not mine. Besides, I think that system is a bit more complex then the Rancho setup. They may not need to be strong, but they at least need to put. It just seems to me that they could be shaken loose. I'm not attacking anyone, I was just wondering if this had ever been a problem. Anyway, "beefier" was mentioned. Adam, there are several on-line dealerships that have them for less than $14, but it's another 10 to ship... I don't know that I have that much faith in my local parts department.
  2. LoL! Mine has been frozen at 103999 for God-knows how long.
  3. I hate reviving dead topics, but this one is kind of confusing. How can the Rancho (or any other aftermarket) SS be tougher than stock when they mount the shock to the CL using nothing but U bolts? Do they hold up all right? It seems to me that they'd slip under any kind of heavy strain. Is there something I'm missing that keeps this from happening? BTW: Rock Auto is apparently not stocking the factory damper pin anymore. Any sources other than the dealer?
  4. Replaced the sealed beams with new and changed the oil and air filter. There was a small puddle of oil on the garage floor this morning, but I couldn't find anything leaking. I've got so much to do to the truck over the next couple weeks, I really don't need engine mysteries popping up.
  5. It looks like a modified 86 HB 4x4 grill, which is what I just bought for mine. Those integrated lights are sweet. I think yours is the first front end that I've truly envied. Very nice.
  6. The book said XE=20t, so that's what I bought. The problem is, I'm shooting in the dark. The part will be in sometime this week (I hope), so I guess I'll figure it out then. If it even works in this case, I'll be able to check the reading to my GPS and figure how far off it is.
  7. Awesome grill! Where's that come from?
  8. That doesn't look too bad. You obviously need a new bumper and fog light, which are cheap enough to replace. Once you get the bumper off, you'll know more about any damage to the radiator support. I looks like the grill might have been pushed up a bit... What was wrong with the headlight and corner?
  9. NM. Parts train has it listed as Engine Temperature Sensor... They list the other as the Temperature Sending Gauge Switch. I may be backward. The FSM is kinda fuzzy. Test then both and see what happens. http://www.partstrain.com/store/details/Nissan/Pathfinder/Standard/Engine_Temperature_Sensor/1995/XE/6_Cyl_3-dot-0L/SITX18T.html http://www.partstrain.com/store/details/Nissan/Pathfinder/Beck_Arnley/Temperature_Sending_Gauge_Switch/1995/XE/6_Cyl_3-dot-0L/201-1328.html
  10. Prolly the temp sensor. Easy fix. The trouble-shooting procedure is on page EL-41 in the FSM. I replaced this part in my truck a couple years ago. Seems like it cost around $14. For some reason, I can't find it on any of the parts sites now though. o_O
  11. LoL! I think goofy windows are the least of your worries with a 4runner. Having worked on my brother's, I'd be happy never messing with one again. Most over-complicated junk pile evar! Thank the car gods for my simple, hard-working Pathfinder. The 2-ton liftgate may fall and chop me in two one day, but at least I'll go knowing it won't take a degree from MIT to fix it.
  12. I'd rather have the split tailgate like the Chevies and Toyotas personally, but either way would be a ton of fab work. You could start by chopping the stock liftgate and go from there.
  13. I decided on a grill (ordering today) and started a parts list to get my front end in presentable order. As of Tuesday my Pathy and I work for Direct TV. If anyone knows of a ladder rack available for the WD21, let me know. I've got to buy or build one in 2 weeks.
  14. Not a bad idea. I really don't care for the stock flares anyway. I want a set of those crazy Terrano flares that stick out 6".
  15. Gotcha. Sorry, I thought I was missing something about the suspension. Nunya is on the ball. I'd prolly just beat the snot out of it with a punch and a BFH. o_O
  16. I think there might be a WD21 hiding behind all these douche bags. I'm so glad I don't have cable. Please let be know when Powerblock gets Danica Patrick back.
  17. Slide pin? For the brake? Are you having trouble with the caliper on a rear disk brake set-up?
  18. LOL! I have 3. What do you do with 3 flares? I'm willing to give them away if anyone wants to come get them.
  19. Thats weird.. I was @ a Nashville p***y last night!

  20. Lisa, it sounds to me that you're the only person you know that's interested in fixing the truck. It sounds like over the last four years your Pathy has been rode hard and put away wet. I hope your desire to keep your truck is strong enough to take these gentleman's advice, but if your family's resistance proves too much, please don't junk your truck. You won't make much by scrapping it. Better that you sell it cheap to someone who is willing to put in the time to bring it back.
  21. Don't forget the actuator itself. That might have been in the PM, but I hadn't seen it mentioned. Make sure you have the vacuum lines and hardware too. It seems obvious, but all the electrical connections and switches in the world won't help if you forget the main component. ;p You'll wanna be sure your TB has the pulley for the CC too. If not, you'll need that from the donor too.
  22. I'm sorry, can you be more vague? Try this: http://www.courtesyparts.com/pathfinder-parts-wd21-1987-1995/genuine-nissan-parts/bodyside-rear/803-front-door-window-regulator/-c-5572_5573_5716_5723.html If that doesn't help, try using a digital camera and MS Paint to draw a great big arrow pointing to the part in question (no, really, it works).
