This topic may be dead, but I ran into something that I figured I'd share and save for later... This is a stainless, square tube grill for the 09-94 HB (w/ composite lights) made by Stull It lists on their site for $125 It ought to fit the path w/o any kind of conversion.

The parking break manually engages the rear break drum . When was the last time you changed your drum shoes? You should probably look into a break job before replacing cables. Check the FSM (BR 18-27) for more detailed instructions.

Yuck. You didn't scrap or otherwise goof your mass airflow sensor while installing this mess of 90° angles did you?

I have that problem w/ my CB, but I don't think it's the alternator. The wiring system in the wd21 could use a major re-engineering. Good thing it's simple...

Try satin black instead. No cheap-o .99 WalMart paint, get the good Rustoleum stuff. It'll look alright.

First, I'd like to point out that this forum is infested w/ Canadians. Second, the skid plates tend to get misplaced after 15 years. Mine didn't have one when I bought it. My first WD21 had one for a week, then I snapped off all the fasteners and decided it was easier to run w/o then to drill them out. I think a homebrew plate w/ heavy duty bolts is a better option anyhow.

Trucks shouldn't have carpets anyway. Rubber mats maybe, but not carpet. Sounds like your rust issue isn't too bad either. I'm sorry that you're disappointed. I was too when I found the flaking on my frame. But, there are guys here making the best of a lot worse. I consider myself lucky at this point. I'll keep trying to control what I can and, when it finally gets so bad that I can't enjoy my truck, I'll either buy new one (Xtrera probably) or put a new frame under it... $2700 isn't too much to ask for another 20 years of service, I think.

X2 I'll drink a couple at a restaurant, then drive home. What's the difference on the trail? The key word is Responsibility. If you've got a buzz, you shouldn't be behind the wheel. If you're too immature to know (or admit) that you're fukt up, then you shouldn't be drinking in the first place. Now, we are talking about drinking before driving right? Drinking while driving is just plain dumb, no matter the circumstance. No hard stuff for me either. I gave that up when I realised what a silly drunk I am.

I think they compliment the black grill and make the blue bars stand out more. Much better then the white lights. I'd leave 'em. I know what you mean about them being too dark though. The GTS covers are a PITA at night. I had a set on my Sentra. Had to take them off on long drives. Drove the wife crazy (her vision sucks anyhow). You can beat that w/ a set of small driving lights mounted under the bumper. More light w/o killing the effect of the blacked-out front end.

You don't have a lug wrench? How do you plan of changing your spare if you can't get the lug nuts off? You don't really have to torque your lug nuts... That's just being anal. If this is the case, you probably ought to take your truck to a shop to have it looked at. It may be expensive, but it could be unsafe to get further into this w/o prefessional help.

7k is just stupid. Do they have this out on the lot, or is it in the bullpen (the area in the back where they park repos and trade-ins)? I don't know why, but it seems they alway quote you some crazy inflated price when you ask about something that they don't intend to sell. I won't even bother asking about the bullpen any more. Better to try and catch it at auction. In contrast, I bought mine for $1200 private. Listen to the guys above. Stay away from dealers. Take your time. You'll find a good deal localy when you're least expecting it. Seems like you never find what you want when you want it... So save your money!

Mine is run through the stock amp. I don't have to turn it up very high to be loud. I know scosche makes a bypass for the amp, but I can't find it ATM....
