  1. well, i think they are cranked up a little too far.. i almost said something in your test thread.. i know the truck sits on a sloped driveway but it still seems to be like mine with it's nose in the air.
  2. yeah, it's not as uncommon as you think. good luck and let us know what really happened as i have never heard of this happening without something related breaking. pics would be good too.
  3. my 89 pathy came with toyo ATs and they were more then great.. i was super happy with them.. so happy in fact that i ended up buying at least another set.. maybe even two.. it's been a while..
  4. i wouldn't get retreads even if they were free.. they are even harder to ballance then regular muds and they do wear funny.. just don't do it..
  5. i am sure the dealer has replacments.

    Braking issues

how many miles on the truck? if you can hear a girgling sound emmiting from the vac assist on the MC then i bet that's what it is.. the symptoms you desribe lead me to believe that the MC may be your problem. good luck.. bleed it first.. if no different then do the MC.. save your money. don't go to the stealer.
  7. fuel filter or O2 sensor would be my first guesses. check the ecu again (sticky on p2 of how-to (garage))

    stalling...

i wonder if it's the crank pos sensor or the tps one... hmm
  9. hey, constrctionn sites can be a lot of fun, you know?

    What Happened?

yeah, the DL maybe your problem. also check the TREs. since your truck dropped some you may want to re-inspect the torsion bars and related hardware.. all kind of weak on pathfinders.
  12. here is the info on the ECU http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=21 sounds to me like your fuel pump isn't pumping fuel.. can you hear it buzz when you turn the key to ON?

pics? glad it's over.. sounds like a real pita
  14. i gave it plenty of "love" and it's too long by about the inch i mentioned.. no way no how.. too bad.. maybe something is a little different on my truck.. i dunno.
  15. don't forget to wire in a relay in there or you're gonna have a meltdown.
  16. i had toyo at for over 60k miles twice on my previous truck. now i have MTs and the road noise is negligable.. nothing to worry about.. i tend to rotate them every oil change though.. helps keeping them worn more evenly. so far i have 14k on them and the way they look i should get easily another 16k out of them and maybe even 26k..
  17. yeah, in the ceiling? i shopped around to find a speaker that'd fit.. alpine seems to be the only one.. the back ones still don't fit perfectly.. i still need to put like some washers or something to take care of a gap between the speaker lip and the "frame".. mine are actually not screwed in at all.. couldn't find any screws/bolts that would fit at the time i messed with them and that was over a year ago.. the plastic grills hold them in place just fine and i have done my share of jarring. i did find paper ones just like the original Clarions at NAPA for like $20 or something a pair.. i
  18. lol. yup.. save yourself the trouble and just use the sawzall right off the bat.. i banged, and bled and cussed before i decided to go to ACE to get new bolts.
  19. i dunno. i have a manual tranny so it's a little different but it looks like one of the exhaust pipes goes accross the pan which may make it a real pita to remove. good luck and let us know how it went.
  20. lol. just my opinion based on personal experience.. no need to bow..
  21. if put on correctly they are better then rubber ones.
  22. they don't but they do? that's what you said.. hmmm? anyway.. rpo comps are cheaper then BFGs, normally.
  23. jb weld would definitely be worth a shot.
