  2. approaching that time for the mod although not sure if the problem still exited on 97s.. could also be the shift selenoid acting up/taking dump.. run codes? not sure if your guys' ecu or whatever has the diagnostic settings.
  3. that's another yup. i talk to a guy on another forum that makes his just under a buck/gal. but there is also a penalty if you make too much. then you're commercial and you're screwed. they tax you to death and control your butt. it most likely all depends on the state. iirc ~2000ga/yl is the limit in CO.
  4. just before the heat i had it evaced and recharged and i am sooooooo glad too.
  5. no dont have it and wish I did
  6. i go with 4 most of the time.. sometimes i leave a little (<~1/2 of a bottle) and put the bottle in the engine compartmen (left side between batt. and firewall) for future use if need would arrise. also not a bad idea to have a full one in there instead.
  7. dude, don't waste that kind of money, get a g-wagen.
  8. leaving the AC belt off will lead to the A/C not working. belts are pretty cheap man. just because you can still read the name of the manu. doesn't mean jack. on the original belts on my truck you could still see Nissan on them but they were toast. you may want to check for proper tension. they need to be pretty tight. tighter then you'd expect.
  9. bio can be run in any diesel car or truck. many people are brewing the stuff nowadays. my next vehicle will be a diesel for sure.
  10. and there are picstures and the whole description.. maybe worth a search?
  11. huh? just look will you? to check the freeze plugs nothing has to come out.. they are on the outside of the engine... you said middle. which middle? any mixing of fluids?
  12. yeah or the freeze plugs have gotten loose. search and find where the leak actually is othersiwe it's all just a speculation.
  13. dk, that's pretty cool.. they don't fly off? how about using a rope made out of soft material?
  14. i have hauled my 17' canoe on my mustang for years man. i only use front and back painters.. never, ever have had any issues and i drive 80mph with the damn thing and have fourwheeled with it a lot too. just don't sweat it too much. have fun. there are always way to tie this thing down. when no hooks or the like i just run the rope around the bumper attachments.
  15. for $555 you can have the real thing on just a RC model.
  16. you can wheel the beaches of Martha's Vineyard/Chappaquiddick (south beach: http://www.mvy.com/islandinfo/Edgartown_conserv_4.pdf) not sure about the cape but it may be worth checking out. check out recreational facilities at both links: http://www.capecodweb.com/capeinfo/dennis.htm http://www.capecodweb.com/capeinfo/mashpee.htm
