  1. i think pre 90 don't and you maybe in that zone where some might and some may not since it is 90 but i am not sure steeevo. how is the conversion going?
  2. what seasl did you have replaced? this thing sounds a little fishy to me though.
  3. AutoZone as well as walmart has some for around $20 a pair.
  4. yeah, we are ready for chapter 2. good luck my man. *takes a whole bunch of steps back*
  5. run 10w30 in all my nissans and have never had a problem.. i actually have been lucky not to have too much of the manifold tick either but i did notice the other day that one of the bolts is sheared. no tick still. prob will leave it be for as long as i don't have to mess with anything in the area.
  6. there is right up in the garage/tech areas about this very thing but it might have been for a wd21.. look into it though it may be of help.
  7. yup but you can't get to it from inside the pannel though. it's closed off from tha side by the way it's made. should pop right off, might have to "slide" it some.
  8. or have sex and eat him afterwards.
  9. sounds like you need some get in the truck and get your tools and the moral of this story is: cell phones SUCK!!
  10. 45mph in 4hi but if you can go that fast you don't need to be in 4x4.. shifting on the fly is ok. haven't had any problems. if you had clunking mught want to check/lube your hubs pronto. in 5th gear 4lo you MIGHT manage 25mph.. lol
  11. yeah the tensioner pulley will do the sound.. not sure which one on your truck. open the hoood with the truck running and listen and feel for vibration (of course whatch tyour little fingers!) that's a great deal man... if r50 is anything like wd21 that's a steal, really. i'd say if you get 1k that'd prob be good.. should be enough time to find out if anything is up although your trip south will eat all that up so bargain with them... i think 3k-3mo is about the standard in the industry (chain shops)
  12. i am almost certain that my pathy has an alluminum cased front diff also.
  13. yeah, my 94 has the regular horn and another alarm siren. they both sound off when the alarm goes off. never had the prob you describe though.
  14. probably not but if you decide to get them look into the ones that are more of a spot light as opposed to fog (spread)
  15. don't know if they (heep coild) would work on r50. never heard of anyone being able to do that on here.
  16. lol. that's what i am saying.. the driver needs to learn how to drive his machine.
  17. 05 X is way better then you think. i wheeled with one here not long ago and it was simply amasing.. and he never even used the rear locker.
  18. sorry my bad. YES!!! do it. when i googles ATE i got a bunch of stuff that didn't seem related. so i thought you ment ATF.
  19. not sure if you can go to ATF for the clutch. i'd at least dump the old fluid since you're doing the clutch.. start all new!
  20. doesn't seem to be the case since the Xterras have the same problems and they are marketed to the outdoor croud. not sure about the r50 though.
  21. travel maybe the thing in desert running but on rocks and rough terrain traction is maybe even more important and i guarantee you that you'll never get the traction out of one wheel as opposed to two. i just saw hummers struggle in deep offcamber mud holes a couple of weekends ago .. of course the have other tricks to pull out so they did make it through.
  22. anymore then what's readily available you'll need new shafts which are also hard to find.
  23. independent will probably be your best bet although Aamco would probably do it too. i think it boils down on who do you trust.
