  1. So $700. Thats not a bad deal. Unless you can fab up your own bumpers thats about as cheap as it would get.
  2. Are those supposed to be like fake TJM's or ARB's?
  3. Buy the Calmini & throw some bigass tires on it. Oh & post some pics for us too.
  4. I have know idea which steelies I have, cause I traded a guy my stock rims for them a while back, but I kow mine are tough as hell. Last year when I had that blowout on the interstate I drove for like 3 or 4 miles on a flat tire until I could get to a decent neighborhood & there wasn't even a scratch on it much less dents or warping. I run 15x8's with 3.68" of actual BS.
  5. those look like some bigass 17" Rock Crawlers.
  6. That happened to my dad in his truck. Some old man rearended him & the hitch went through the radiator. The guy was able to run his car though (an old Towncar) & since there wasn't any damage to my dad's truck they simply parted ways. Good to hear the hitch saved the day!
  7. The VG33E is just an underpowerd engine. No more, no less. You can do things here & there but it's never gonna be like the 3.5, sorry. For what I need it does the trick though. If I do another engine swap again on my R50 I'm going diesel next time. Huge low end torque without much horsepower.
  8. Stick with the badass-diesel WD21's big guy. No "cheap lift" other than a small 1" front strut spacer.
  9. badass! Lets see if it fits the 96-99 cause I'm in need of a good skid plate.
  10. Yeah there's been plenty of people cut up WD's. I remember Richard had that badassness '93 that had the back part cut off.
  11. After all of that work you could've just had a rear bumper with a sing tire carrier built.
  12. Nope I didn't see it. Oh, ok. I wondered why I didn't see the shift knob.
  13. My point being that he could get away with not having front doors cause he's probably not gonna run it that hard
  14. A real email would be awesome, cause they don't answer the other.
  15. Thats some niffty looking stuff you got there. Good job.
  16. They're not that crucial. Theres only been like 4 or 5 people that have ever wheeled their R50's hard enought to even worry about twisting (Dean, Tyler, System F, maybe Alex & definetaley Max Stryker's crazyass). As long as you would have the rear hatch & rear doors on you could go without the 2 front doors... trust me. There are plenty of unibodies that run without front doors.
  17. After you find your USB cord just get a photobucket account (its free) & upload your pics.
  18. Don't listen to these guys, I say if you got the time, money & know-how then SAS! If you want a front axle that'll work well go with a Waggy (thats a Wagoneer incase you don't know) D44 . Check these out: SAS (89trailboss, TMorgan, Nissondoms, etc., etc)
  19. I ripped off my bumper like 2 years ago & have never put it back on (actually the little black plstic is just a cover, there is a big ugly piece of metal underneath). I say take it off & just join the other couple of us that run no rear bumper. Trust me you won't regret it.
  20. Dude trust me thats fairly normal with a spacer added. Without any spacer I got about 3" of lift when I 1st put the AC coils in but it settled out at like 2-2.5" & my rear has settled out to almost 3"
