  1. I get 16mpg not matter what. Dogging the hell outta it with 32's or playing nice with 30's I get 16mpg. If I wanted great gas mileage I'd be a smug douche & buy a Prius
  2. That would require a good bit of custom work.
  3. Yeah get the lift installed & post some pics. You've been talking about this for a while, so congrats.
  4. Actually the 96-99 R50's are fairly standard but the 99.5-04 are a bit different & yes do require a bit of modification. Where the hell is Alexrex anyway?
  5. That wouldn't be hard to do. You could cut out a decent protion of the trunk & put a fuel cell there plus you could have a larger capacity fuel tank (yeah I've thought about this in the last year or so). Didn't SystemF think about doing this at one point?
  6. I run KYB GR2's up front I only have the Ranchos in the rear. I couldn't be more happy with the KYB's (super nice ride).
  7. I had RS9000XL & busted one & Rancho sent me a RS5000 as a repalcement... The product sucks & the company sucks even harder. The next time I'm either going with Bilsteins or Fox.
  8. Corbeau has brackets for Frontiers/Xterras & if I'm not mistaken that'll work on R50's as well. I knoiw that Xterra seats bolt right into R50's so I would assume the same as aftermarket brackets for aftermarket seats but you never know until you try it I guess.
  9. Thats where they all are unless you have a snorkel
  10. When I did my engine swap back in Dec. I swapped in a Quest alt.
  11. Ah ya see thats the problem you would consider puting it on your Pathy, lol.
  12. 1st off use the search button. Theres a ton of cra around here regaurding this all you need to do is just look around but being I'm in a not bad mood I'll throw you a bone kiddo... Lifts: AC 2" lift - only buy the lift coils from them cause you can find the struts/shocks cheaper elsewhere. the rear coils are in the rear suspension section on the left hand side just look Old Man Emu 1.25-1.5" lift - same as AC's lift only get the lift coils & find the stuts & shocks you want cheaper else where. .75-1" Stuts spacers - there are couple of people around this board that actually make them, one of them is Daddyrim, look him & his company up (from what I've heard he's great to work with) here is a general link to a discussion here about lifts, and another one. Exhaust: I run a Magnaflo, but to be honest your not gonna get a deep throaty sound out of an R50 no matter the muffler (unless its Tyler Morgan's but thats a whole nother story). I didn't get it to sound better or perform better, my exhaust & muffler were shot-to-sh!t so I had to & went with Mganaflo (which I couldn't be happier with, seriously) Tires: I'm not gonna talk about tires, I'm just gonna send you to a link, cause this has been talked about to exhausting lengths (infact theres a couple of stickied threads in the this section alone) Link to TIRE discussion
  13. I'm gonna extend my rear arms b/c I want to run lifted Bronco coils in the rear with the SFD instead of spacers/blocks but I'm wondering if I'm gonna have to modify my panhard bar for this to work. Thats why I was saying I'd be interested in the panhard bar. I think it'll be one of those hurdles I'll tackle when I get there but since you've already done it I was curious as to your thoughts (sorry to hi-jack Tyler but Richard & I discussed this a bit back & never came up with a definate answer)
  14. I'd go with the XJ's, low & wide dude, low & wide (I know, I know, I'm not SASed but I've been around enough of them & seen enough of them being built & watched enough roll as well because they were too high & not wide enough-COG).
  15. If I am not mistaken you are in the wrong section with that KovmanN... these are R50's (97-2004) not WD21's (86.5-95) but eh, thakns for the imput.
  16. It should. Definetly would with a spacer. If my memory is correct Max ran a 35x14.50 on a 15x12 rim with no spacer & it worked.
  17. Those were worn out tires too, but there was a good bit of rubbing up front (the rear was fine). I completely took out the plastic liner up front & I could've just cut about an 1-1.5" diagonal on the corner of the front bumper, but then I thought, what would be the fun of that?! It rubbed the strut tower really bad but that was in the begining because I still had stock rims but after I got my 15x8's with the 3.68" of BS that stopped.
  18. I cut the hell outta my front bumper when I was still stock height any how. I cut off everything under the turn signals:
  19. Yeah you can do that but you will have to do some trimming of the fender & part of the front bumper (especially at stock height) but unless you have like a 12.50 wide tires then you wouldn't want to go with that wide of a rim. I've seen a 32x11.50 tire on a 15x10 rim but I wouldn't recommend it (just because the tire shop says it can be done doesn't mean that it should be done).
  20. Parterner, you can't really go with a 15" rim cause it will rub the brake drums. You need to go with atleast a 16" rim. A 16x8 with 3.75-4" of BS will work for you.
  21. Yeah the ARB works, it just leaves a small 1" gap.
