  1. is anyone in contact (I mean personal not email cause I can't get an answer) with Runnerman?
  2. With some trimming you can fit the 33's. It would be a little easier too if you had maybe .75" or 1" strut spacer, but if you are planning on offroad much then go with the 32's. The 33's won't be able to tuck much & if you do go with a spacer you will wear out CVs quicker than nessasary. Just my $.02 though. When I get home I'll post some pics of "some" trimming.
  3. So are you not going to do the whole bumper, but just those couple of parts?
  4. No its ok, I am an uncaring jackass...I've got 4 100W offroad lights too (holy sh!t you're not alone), but I have no high-beams & no HIDs lightbulbs, so no, I was not that person you had to "fire up" your lights on...besides I'd rather fire up my new toy, rather than a couple of silly lights anyhow... And you're wrong, if I were to be hit head on, chances are I would not care, because I'd probably be dead. But I digress & don't take offense, I'm not purposelly trying to be a jerk (I guess somehow, accidentally it just happens), so lets get back to the topic at hand (before I am kicked off of another forum)
  5. Yeah it looks good (clean it up a little & it'll look like bada$$ness) & thanks for the props. I wonder, could a winch be mounted either behind the guard or onto it? Pics or yes I've done it/seen it anyone?
  6. You know, in all honesty I don't care about blinding others.
  7. I'm not going to knock on it cause I am sure there are a lot of people that think mine looks stupid (like I give a f*ck) with a roofrack, big lights, black wheels & gnarly tires. It aint my thing but oh well.
  8. I have tried to beat the hell out of the GR2s but they have so far held up pretty well.
  9. Dude that thing looks nasty but where are you mounting your license plate? In the spare tire maybe?
  10. My wife drives mine when her POS Sentra breaks down. Plus with mine I didn't so much go for any kinda look it was more about being functional on & offroad for me. But look at Deans ride before the "transformation" Who would've thought that would become a rock crawling machine?
  11. Thanks. My neighbor runs the car audio/installation at Circiut City so I had, uh, barrow the switches & conectors for me (he said they had a tom of them layin around so he didn't care to swipe a couple for me). I wanted it to look very simple (even though it was a pain in the arse), like thats how my Pathy came, with mini switches.
  12. I went with pretty much the same route as Dean but I put them all into little tubes (see pic 1) then ran it under my carpet & into a router under my dash (see pic 2) so that I don't fry any wires or blow any fuses plus I installed switches for them (see pic 3). The left switch controlls the front 4 lights & the right switch controlls the back light for all those f*cking people who get on my a$$! Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3
  13. Go with the 3.75" BS otherwise you'll probably have a bit of rubbing with the 4.5" BS
  14. Since Dean already got the offset issue I'll post a couple of pics before the lift. Stock SE rims but I cut a lot off of my bumper (not a rubbing issue though) Here it is before I cut the bumper up And even crawling up a little hill there were no rubbing issues
  15. Na I've already got that part figured out. Trust me I aint afraid of this goverment. Hell they can't find Osama Bin Laden but Michael Scheuer from 60 Minutes can get an interview with him, they won't get me for a BS law that means Jack Sh!t.
  16. I ran the 31x10.5 MFG MTs (the same tires I run now with the 2" lift) on stock & aftermarket rims (15x8 black rock crawlers) before I lifted it without any problems
  17. I know that I would have to change out the gas tank, gas lines, etc for the engine swap of the TD27 diesel engine to be complete but what I want to know is would it be a huge deal or would it be fairly possible? I know where a couple are here on the east coast starting from about $1500 to about $2500 rebuilt & my poor little 3.3 is nearing the 200K mark & I am begining to think about the future. I just wanted to get some input on what you guys thought.
