  1. Aside from me sinking it & killing my engine this thing can't be stopped. I got her up & running with the new rebuilt engine yesturday, so look out!
  2. Sorry for the hi-jack, but are you guys required, by law or whatever, to have snow tires?
  3. I figured that but I can't find it. I'm automatatic, & I'm replacing the engine so I am going to drop the pan to remove all fluid & flush everything out to start fresh.
  4. I need to know how many quarts of tranny fluid & coolant to put in a '97.
  5. Yeah I've not had a rear sway bar for a while & my front has been broken for about as long as the rear has been gone.
  6. Not the best pic but you can kinda see the piece I am talking about here:
  7. You don't have 'em... Maybe it's only on the 96-99 R50's, but thats what I want mine to end up looking like after I would cut. I have metal pieces that hang down right under the lights I what not.
  8. I'm pretty sure he's talking to you cause I'm talking about the front.
  9. Like the description says can I cut the metal off that hangs down behind the front bumper? I 'm gonna be going with a tube bumper up front & want to no if there is any structural signifigence to that piece. I think I've seen a couple do this (maybe Tyler Morgan?) but I can't really remember. Dean, Pezzy or any of the other R50 experts opinions is really appreciated
  10. Locker! I've wheeled stock hieght & lift & I say lock that b!tch.
  11. F*ck it! If you wanna do it, then do, hell it's your ride, not ours.
  12. I like it. It looks like it ought to be out on safari in Africa or something
  13. Yeah well I hit 8 years this past June & I'm not that tall...
  14. You might have some rub, but they should work. My stock R50 rims were 15x7, so you should be fine.
  15. Thats what I'm talkin' bout right there!
  16. WTF! Where & when did all of this happen?...
  17. Thats right! You think you want a frame & all that other crap but you really don't need it...
  18. Year: '97 lift : AC 2" lift coils Wheels : 15x8 black Rock Crawlers Tires : 32x11.5 BFG Mud Terrains Notes: some rubbing from the bottom of the fender (close to the door)-gonna be cutting the hell out of my fenders in a couple of weeks to fix this as well as give me more clearance photo :
  19. Not really, I brought this thread back up after a year or so of no posts on it for the simple fact that Adam (fueler) talked about crapping himself in the water & what not.... talking about snorkels & intakes kinda of got us back on track
  20. I can spin 32's in thickass mud/clay... whole lotta fun!
  21. No prob Bob!...actually I don't know your name but 'Bob" rhymed
  22. If you are talking about a straight trail rig then a Zuk is a good way to go but for most of us the R50 was our daily driver & as time rolls on we make it more & more offroad-capable, but very few of us will ever be able to hang with the big boys. If you wanna run with the boys with SAS's & 38+ then get a WD21 (if you wanna stay with a NIssan) & SAS or go with the earliest 4Runners (very capable & cheap to make a great trail rig)
