  1. There is a wire that goes to it. I believe it is a green wire. See if it is covered with oil/crud/junk and not making a connection and/or not plugged in. If that doesnt fix it replace the oil pressure sensor. PART NUMBER: 25070-07G12
  2. Sounds like wheel balance, bent wheel or alignment or a combination of the three. Does it do this only when accelerating? Does it more or less go away around 60 mph?
  3. Number of bolts are different..... So I would say no.
  4. I am assuming form your problem description the following: 1) your Pathy has auto air 2) This is a relatively new problem that has come up. Given your symptoms with an AUTO AC system it would be the Auto AC amplifier - most likely a loose or corroded connection. It is less likley to be the in vehicle sensor. (located on the steering column)

    300z ECU

It will not work.... And I will add to the list of reasons that the injectors are different.
  7. Here are the Maxima engines by model type and production dates U11 Maxima VG30E PD 84-89 J30 Maxima VG30E VE30DE PD 88-94 A32B Maxima VQ30DE PD 94-99 A33B Maxima VQ30DE VQ35DE PD 99-02
  8. I can get you a new one for $35.00 if you want. Part number is 11925-88G00
  9. This part was used on the Pathfinder and the Hardbody pickup. It is not an 'upgraded part' per se. Lower Right: 56234-88G00 and Lower Left: 56235-88G00 are the part numbers for the 90 1/2 to 1995 model pathfinders. 86-87 used 56234-41610 (right) 87-90 early used 56234-41G20 (right) Nissan simply doesnt make the two earlier versions anymore and they both supercede to the parts you got. Pehaps it is because they did design one they liked better for the late 90 pathy. I dont know. SO now, no matter what year you have, if you go to get them it will be this part.
  10. Wallyworld quality is poo. Fram is garbage.
  11. For a WD21, the seat pads and seat back pads were the same for all grades from MY 93-95. Production date 07/92 forward.
  12. R50s with the air deflector have a different back door than those without.... And as stated they are designed to keep dust/rain off the rear gate when moving. The downward thrust of the air from hitting the deflector is intended to keep/blow it off.
  13. I would like to add to the quoted 'how to' that after it dies give it 5 or so more cranks till it absolutely wont try to start.
  14. could be anywhere or from anything. Might just be from a topping it off and some runing down the dipstick guide...
  15. there are basically 4 different differentials used by Nissan on WD21 and three different thrust blocks. (by part#) If you let me know your VIN I can tell you which one you have.
  16. As dumb as it may sound, is the gas cap tight and/or sealing properly?
  17. The code 0011 is a known problem with these vehicles. We had one in the shop for it yesterday. The will probably tell you what I told you. Top it off and come back in a few weeks if it comes up again. Tell them to have the engine looked at for oil consumption and make sure to mention 'oil consumption' when talking to your service advisor. Believe it or not, the dealerships like warranty type work because it is guaranteed payment once approved as long as they do not mess up the paperwork. It is Nissan NA or the extended warranty provider that try to get cheap but the dealership is motivated to try to talk them into it.
  18. Code 0011 is Camsprocket VDC Hopefully your problem si the first thing here..... slightly low oil level can cause this. because of the wierd angle of the dipstick, some people/shops misread the oil level when changing the oil. this can cause the code 0011. 1) run the truck for 20 minutes. 2) turn it off check the oil level 3) fill if low 4) clear code. If the code comes back on you need to replace the cam sprockets, which I hop eis not the case for you.
  19. Slick is right. The oil pressure switches are notorious for leaking on the starters and killing them. There is even a service bulletin on it.
  20. Good thing about the clamps is they are an easy fix. bad thing is they dont last forever. I am in the same boat as you.
