  1. The silicone vacuum line is a good idea, I like that. I added loom over the wires to protect them, but didn't even think about my hands, so many frequently worked on areas where that would be helpful!
  2. Went offroading with my friend who just got a 2003 Jeep Liberty. Still a Jeep, but it's not a Wrangler or Cherokee so it counts as unique in my book! Also my first time offroad with all the new front-end parts, and I have to say, I'm extremely pleased with the Old Man Emu springs and KYB struts! Lots of stuff I still want to do, but I think for now I'll just get some hub-centric rings and new brake pads and enjoy it as-is for a little bit. Not sure what's next. Pics coming within the next couple days.
  3. I cannot remember exactly which ones, but I know there are longer brake lines that will fit that you can buy at a normal auto parts store. Not sure how much longer than stock they are, I think hawairish is the one with this info. The fronts come from some other Nissan SUV and the rear comes from a Nissan pickup, D21 I think.
  4. I have this issue as well. Not sure what it is, if I can't figure it out is there anything to worry about other than annoyance? I have no problems showing up on the dash so I just kind of let it go both times it happened...doesn't happen consistently either.
  5. Oh, ok. Didn't recognize it because in my Q it's an analogue clock.
  6. What's the gauge/display between the vents at the top, above the radio?
  7. I second what RainGoat said, power folding mirrors?!? I need to find some, that's cool!!! I love the spec on your new ride, almost identical to my '02 QX4.
  8. You say all this and don't post a single pic???
  9. Hm, mine are in the top holes. Is that necessarily a problem? And as others have said, it's a Photobucket issue. I use postimage.org and there's a few other options out there.
  10. As always, I'm completely in awe of how rugged the subject of your pictures is, the perfectly placed shots which capture the action well, and how fantastic the picture itself is!
  11. I have a Rough Country 9500#. Only that particular one because I won it in a raffle. Haven't even used it other than to prep it for use. Seems to be good quality though, dragged my truck 90' across the front lawn no problem, lol.
  12. My wallet will be hurting; dropped my QX4 off for an alignment and exhaust today. Initial estimate was $571.63, but I decided I didn't want dual exhausts that bad. It's now going to be $402.25 for single and an alignment. Better sound darn good, haha!
  13. Yup, an extension and new joint. Woodward Steering is your solution. Information here: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/42784-steering-extensions/?p=784756
  14. Good reason for that; they stopped making that kit at least a year ago. Johann Peralta is the only one I know of who still makes them.
  15. Careful with where you get your measurements from, there's some diagrams floating around with incorrect information. I know at least Johann has good info, as well as a few others. Just gotta ask around, people who have actually done it will be the most helpful, don't want to risk second-hand knowledge since there's some wrong info around. Good luck!
  16. If you have a lift you'll need camber bolts. The issues they brought up are kind of legitimate, but definitely not a problem; sure it would be nice to have those things, but they aren't available or really necessary. I have mine aligned at a local repair shop, the guys in there are actually truck guys who modify their own rides so they know what they're doing in situations that aren't factory/normal.
  17. That's cool, so it's a site that's been used for at least 2 generations of Pathfinder. I wonder if any R51 or even R52 Pathy's were made there? I also wonder if anything else was made there. Maybe Xterra due to similarities to WD21?
  18. And if that's the case, that would make their high prices even more ridiculous. (Says the guy with ARB/OME stuff on his rig...lol)
  19. Apparently my '02 QX4 was built there too. Were there any other locations?
