  1. As a screw driver mechanic, I do not know how to read ECU codes. I found this tutorial on NicoClub, but I haven´t try it yet... http://forums.nicoclub.com/how-to-read-dtc-s-diagnostic-trouble-codes-t488116.html Does it work for a R50 (2000-SE 3.3L)? The Pathy is working good, but who knows, maybe I will need to know if something goes bad, and go to the mechanic to help me with the truck... hahahahaha Thanks!
  2. Check out the tires too... 20 years ago I had an Old WV Bettle... it sat for almost two years... and the tires crystallize... they went old...
  3. Few moths ago I saw these 3 youtube videos explaining how to service the timing belt... On the second video it is shown as adamzan says...
  4. Hawairish, yes, it fits snug and stays in 👍
  5. I bought this cheap rocker switch... I think it fit well but i think it big on the panel... I had to file just a small piece of corner... But it was easy to do that... http://www.aliexpress.com/item/6-COLORS-LED-Rocker-Switch-Laser-LIGHTED-WHIP-4-WHEEL-STEERING-4x4-2-x2-UP-MASTER/32345040710.html
  6. I think the Pathy had the Bosé system originally, and one of the previous owners put this one... I found a lot of "homeless" wires and conections... The person who did the job, used a lot of tape... and no solder... So I soldered all the conections and try to do a clean job with shrinking tube... I found the power antena cable by trial and error.. and installed the switch this diagram.... The switch seems a little bigger but for now it is ok for me... I will look for something more discret....
  7. Hi everybody, I was having the same issue with my antenna... I was worried to broke it with something on the road... And i only listen to my mp3 (usb) music... I bought a rocker switch from aliexpress, and I received it today, but I have a question... Which is the cable of the power antenna? So I can install the switch... Thanks.
  8. Thanks for the input.! I will let you know when i get my celphone mount.
  9. Sorry for my english... But how do you say to the rear brakes pads? (The R50 does not have disc brakes on the rear)....
  10. Yeap... I was starting to search on eBay and Aliexpress... You can buy them new at a reasonable price (china made) with free shipping to Colombia... 😁👍
  11. We have... But it is different... When you crash a car they send it to the "patios" where the authority confiscate the car... Some cars never go out.... But you can not buy parts from them... You have some stores where you can buy used parts... But some are illegal... A lot of them... So you do not know if the parts are stolen or not.... 😓
  12. Don' t forget to change front a rear brake pads and bands... You never know how they were treated...
  13. Yeah, the bulbs look great... But here is difficult to have access to a JY as in the US... I will look for some used or something to do the experiment... 👍
  14. I used one of these online instructions... I remember to insert the key 8 times in less than 10 seconds.... Another isuue you need tomknow is the code of the remote... My 2000 Pathfinder was build in december 1999... Somthe code of the remote is KBRASTU09, for Pathfinders made from january 2000 the code is KBRASTU10.... Etc... You have to find out wich code is your remote control... http://www.ehow.com/how_7236224_program-nissan-pathfinder-keyless-remote.html http://freeremoteinstructions.com/nissan/nissan-pathfinder-1996-2008/
  15. Today I received the led bulb for the Pathfinder fog lights.... They look good... But they do not fit in the case.. The bulbs are too large and the case has a square hole that is too small for the led bulb diameter... I think i am going to make a lamp with them... Hahahahahahah Maybe I can modify the case.. But i do not want to do it...
  16. Year: 2000 LE Superlux Lift : No lift. Wheels : Stock Tires : Firestone Destination A/T (265x70R16) Notes: No other mods, rubbing at full turn on reverse right or left...
  17. This might be a silly question, but is there an off road cell phone car mount? I have never used one, so I have been looking a lot of those and I really do not know what to buy... Wich car mount do you use? Pros? Cons? Thanks.
  18. To be honest... I don't remember... I put all the tension that the coils allowed... mickmutante - Gallardo
  19. Today I cleaned the "C" ring and washed the belts... I did something similar to this guy... I wash them twice and rinse them 3 or 4 times... Plus.... Re-disassemble the seat belt mechanism... put more turs on the "coil" to get more tension... and reassemble... It worked really well... Now they work like new.!
  20. Cleaned the front seat belts... And it worked! They work like new.
  21. If the sunroof is the same as an R50, the holes are located at the front, on the corners... They might be coveres with mud or debris.... you do not need to take the rubber out... That happend to me... In a rainy day the sunroof star to leak water through the interior onf the truck... the drain holes where covered with mud and debris....
