I like the look, they have a great pattern for the trail. Hope your treated good by them. Congrats
-
Looks like they have a good tread pattern for rain and snow, but I don't think it's a good idea to get into much mud or sharp rocks. Just depends on how much you go off road. Great price though.

'93 SE 4x4 - Refusing to start (sometimes)
Nissanland replied to deanpence's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Well I'm on board with you having a bad ground. We had 4 brand new deep cycle batteries in our semi truck, it would either just barely turn the engine fast enough to start or just click, went to frieghtliner 3x before we found out it was just a bad ground wire -
Nobody has said that it could be the coil, but I guess if you're not getting spark then that's a given. Other than a clogged fuel filter or pump you just have to go down the list of possibilities. Oh check any relays/fuses that might have blown out. Good luck, hope you can find it quickly and easily.

Personally I have been really impressed with the Goodyear duratrac, I have them on my Titan and pathfinder. In both c and e ranges. They're quite on the road and perform excellent off road. I also live over a mile off the blacktop, very little gravel stays in the blocks do to rock ejectors built into the tread. Just a opinion from a very satisfied customer. Good luck with your search.

Craps.......I forgot to get the axle information today, very full day of honey dues LIST!!!! Hahaha yea I know, but happy wife is a great and happy life...now let's hope I don't have to go into traction LOL. Well I'm sure I'll get it done tomorrow...til then...

IIRC that has been talked about before, don't quote me for sure, but I think those will fit, but I would check it out in the search section.

Erratic RPM while accelerating and rough idling
Nissanland replied to JsPathfinder's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Same advice as all those above, also check in around the hubs from underneath it, something could be binding up, I had a rock jammed in on my Titan a few weeks ago. I couldn't find anything wrong with the truck, but it kept binding at slow speeds and made a noise like a bearing going out, to make a long story short, it turned out to be a very small and hidden rock in the right spot. Couldn't hurt to look, oh yeah....welcome to the pathfinder family. -
Headers will get you more hp yes, and the noise level is dependent on your exhaust system. A good quality borla, is worth it if you're willing to pay for it. Magna flow is another good brand to look at.

I only changed the oil to show a earlier comment concern about the purple oil and that it wasn't the reason for the good rpms,I didn't do it thinking it would. I am sorry I had one of my bad pain day's so I didn't get a chance to get out bed, (M.E. Cronin pain disease)besides the fact that the wife took the pathfinder to her daughter's home for Easter. I will check the gearing in am. I don't think it's anything to worry about, I think it's just a good engine and I'm lucky enough to have been blessed with it. Has good power and descent mpg. I am glad we're able to get a good read of rpm rates across the board from members trucks. We can open this up to what y'all are getting with your setup for others to see. Gears/tire size, and the rpm/mpg that coming out. It might help those still building up or making changes to they're own rigs. I'm hoping to get a permanent mounted diagnosis reader of some sort to get a more accurate reading of all the engine readings, rpm/speed/fluids temperature as I really don't think I'm gonna trust the almost 20 year old gauges. Any thoughts on something there would be awesome. I know I can't get a bulldog but something like it. thanks for sharing

Another thing, I have to replace the oxygen sensor, the stock unit is giving me a check engine light. I don't know how much that affects the rpm, power. But as I said before, I can't complain about it.
-
I don't know what gears I run, but will look into that in morning. Okay the tachometer is off by about 200rpm. I took a mobile tachometer hooked up and then retest truck at speed, @ 65= 1850/1900 rpm and idle is closer to 725. I don't know how or why but it has been driving excellent. Power/pull/economy. I changed the oil in engine to castrol synthetic blend, 10w30 & still same rpm. The purple was/is clean as if it was poured out of a bottle. Left the automatic transmission fluid alone, it's still purple. If I put truck in power mode rpm jumps up apx 150rpm, and overdrive is another 250rpm. Other than the lift/tires, everything is stock configuration. No special exhaust system, air intake or fuel system.
-
ah NO....32's and the speed at 62= 65mph per GPS. I know the rpm is on low side, it's been this way ever since I did the tune up. At first it ran a bit ruff, but I wiggle the wire's like precise1 said and walla, smooth idle and low rpm's. I idle at around 550rpm. Ngk plugs, the best possible wire's, royal purple synthetic oil/ transmission and castrol oil for the axles, and transfer case. Fram air filter

Came across a few topics in here, but none that really said anything to my likeness. When I'm at 65mph the tac is reading at 1550 rpm. In my Titan at same speed I'm at 1250/1300 rpm. Just curious if y'all are in the same rpm range, I don't have any problems with power in my opinion. The high mileage engine really surprising at power, smooth running, and fuel economy. Around 15/23 for the pathfinder and compared to the titan at 14/24. I really can't complain. G

This is just the very best forum for pathfinder family and then some. Oh then there's the fact that if you have a problem with something else other than a pathfinder, you can still get help/advice. I could not be paid to get a F.B. account. Your welcome here to just look and leave without having to join. And you won't find a bunch of people cursing in their statements. I know for fact that you can't do anything like that on Facebook.....This is the best forum on the net, and you won't find anything else better. NPORA ALL THE WAY..

Replace the brake cylinder on the right rear, was losing brake fluid from a nice hole in the rubber outer seal. I know I could just get a rebuild kit. But with all the miles on old unit, I just decided to go with the new cylinder. Very easy fix. No more fluid on the drive way.

Need new tires 31x10.50x15 recommendations
Nissanland replied to Stifun's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Those walmart tires are the same as the duratrac tires, but the tread is a design for walmart, IF I hadn't got such a good deal on the duratrac, I would have gone with the authority. I have read alot of good reviews for them, I think you would like them at that price, don't worry, they will take you where you want. -
Trail rides here, don't like breaking things apart that took me along time to get right, now a little mud, little rock along the way is just part of the fun.

1995 pathfinder 4wd won't work, at all. HELP
Nissanland replied to Mrd1234's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Personally I think it's the hubs also, if you can't get them working as described above, then you would be miles ahead to get a set of mile marker or warn manual hubs. I know for me just the piece of mind, knowing that they are locked in forward and reverse (the automatic hubs don't always stay in reverse) 4x4parts sells them pretty cheap brand new. Very easy to install also. Just my thoughts. -
We know that fact, the original post though was talking about the auto locking hubs and not gear lockers. Were on same page with the original question.

My new Front Bumper & shaved marker lights
Nissanland replied to stalker's topic in Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab
Yep that's what I think, either extend the top outside bar or remove it, biggest reason is Washington state law prevents having anything in front of the lights, next to or around is fine but not in front of the headlights...but I would like to talk with him if he's interested in producing a second copy... I would just want the bumper though, I like the corner trim, but again I have the sticky laws of Washington state patrol finest to please, heck they will give you a $250 for underlighting/glow...they're just no fun here.. -
Can't Stop Front End From Shaking at Certian Speeds
Nissanland replied to brc19761's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
As both above said, check out your bushings in front and rear, the panhard bushings could cause a vibration/shake as it's keeping the rear axle centered, if loose the axle assembly could be slightly moving left and right at speed the process would be more noticeable than at speed, also check out the bushings on the four links. As for shocks they can give you a false sense of working at low speed, but as u speed up the inertia involved causes a bad shock to start jumping, on our semi trailer we can have 34000 lbs on the axle assembly and yet with bad shocks the axles will hop down the freeway and cause the whole cab of truck to vibrate and shake really bad, so I think I would pull the shocks and test them out of the truck. Hope you can get it fixed and this helps you out. -
1993 Pathfinder - How much does the body weigh?
Nissanland replied to MrEviLDeD's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I don't know about the body, but I weighed my 95 pathfinder xe @ work on the truck scale, with a 1/2 tank and me.... the pathfinder weighed in @ 4460 lbs. Don't know if that helps you out. -
My new Front Bumper & shaved marker lights
Nissanland replied to stalker's topic in Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab
I like it, all but the outside bars in front of the lights, I think I would have just made the inner bar a bit wider. Other than that, I want it, what would you charge to make another one but with just a single bar..? -
Do the hubs need to be removed to replace the CV Axle?
Nissanland replied to MrEviLDeD's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Yep, I agree with you there, nothing better than having the right tool for the job..
