Does this conversion improve braking performance significantly? I have x-drilled rotors up front and replaced everything in the braking system but it lacks the bite that I want..

yea the OEM rims are 15x6 and the ones I want are 16x8 so that's 2" wider and with a 0 offsett.... no idea what offset the OEM rims are but it must be very high seeing as how far inside the fender it is...

I'll get wheels with a 0 offset or lower that way they stick out from the fenders more. Yea I have seen that before it just doesn't help me decide on what size tire that I can run on a wheel that's only 1" bigger in diameter and 2" wider than what I have now without it scrubbing (no lift) 235/75/16 = 29x9.5x15 haha I dont plan on lifting it - no need to really I don't off road if at all... would 265/75/16 fit and still look good and fit? or 265/70/16 which is 31x10.5x16.....

Yea I'll probably do 30"s I dont want to kill the very little power this thing already lacks.

Yea 285's are too big.... I guess 265's will work. This thread is about a lot more than just one tire / wheel size... I'm going to get new torsion bars and new shocks for more comfort... I just want the tire tread to be as wide as the 16x8 wheel... and not rub.

Yea I guess the question becomes is it worth it to do a VG33 swap? Unless I add the SC then the $ to HP ratio wouldn't really be worth it. I noticed that the hood weighs about 20+ lbs so in an effort to get more power & mpg (I'm getting ~12mpg now), what can be done? Headers & exhaust would be a good start right? And every component on this truck really doesn't seem to consider weight savings... the brake rotors feel like they are 50 lbs each. .anyways there isnt much room for weight reduction (on a 5k lb truck) there should be some room for improvement HP wise or weight wise w/o breaking the bank?

DUDE! That is insane! Where did you mount the battery? Also what exhaust are you running? And whats the RWHP? That is just sick! Maybe you can cut some holes in the fenders below the intercoolers and then have a fan under each one to blow air up thru the hood? Sick sick setup...... I have no idea how you managed to figure out that wiring!

Ok then where can I find the SC that goes on the VG30?

Will this fit in the 95? And if not where can I find a supercharger that goes on the VG30ER?

I have the same issue - changing the fluid helped a little bit but it did not resolve the issue.....

amazed that the issue was FIXED! I still have to ask them what it was that fixed the problem...... the suspension is quiet (for now) lets hope it stays that way! I'll update everyone when I hear what the problem was..........

So the ball joints are the only things that can really be greased right? What would happen if they didn't grease the new ones? They should have zerk fittings on them right?

yes this happens when driving in any direction and the steering stops have been replaced along with sway bar bushings and everything is greased up. Next week ill be going by there and not leaving until we isolate the problem. I dont think the torsion bars were removed only tightened...... based on the link in my last post, what parts need lube on the torsion bars? I know the part that holds the twisting of the torsion bar in place must be under a lot of force so maybe its rubbing on something as it flexes?
