  1. The last time it was serviced the tech said that flushing the transmission fluid might do more harm than good if the trans is working fine (as it was at the time)..... I'm hoping that the flush will help and isn't too expensive. I have done the diag sequence before but not since this started happening. The truck sat in the garage for a while not being driven on a daily basis for almost a year but I made sure to drive it on the weekends.... it seemed that it sitting for a while and driving it again on a daily basis that it wasn't as peppy as it used to be. What was the solution you found for this issue?
  2. Bilstein 5100's ordered! Can't wait to get these on! thanks guys
  3. Cool since I cant find the OME shocks I was looking at these: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits-Suspensions-Shocks/4-5100-Series-Shocks-For-Most-Lifted-Trucks-with-Black-Shock-Boots.aspx?t_c=1&t_s=90&t_pt=3306&t_pn=S%2fDShockingBIL5100 Anyone know if these are comfortable? I plan on adding a mild lift eventually and I think these will accommodate that right? as well as have good ride quality!
  4. I'm not sure if it just needs service or if there is some throttle position sensor that I need to replace but even when I have OD turned off, I have to floor it to get it to downshift into 1st or 2nd.... it seems like it stays in 2nd or 3rd most of the time unless I'm at a total stop... any clues to why this is? Thanks!
  5. I've been trying to find the original Old Man Emu nitro shocks but it seems they have been discontinued! They are being replaced with the OME Sports which I've heard are stiffer and feel about the same as my rancho 5000's ...... I've contacted every supplier I know of to try and find some original OME's but it seems they are gone! Anyone have any ideas? I drive my truck on really bad pavement and tired of being shaken out of my seat..... Thanks!
  6. So every once in a while when I try to crank up the truck it just clicks. I've already replaced this starter once (at least this is what the stealership told me)... sometimes it cranks right up sometimes it takes 6-8 times before it cranks.... since its 4wd, is it impossible to get to seeing as you have to drop the front differential right? Or would it be easier to replace the starter solenoid? It's not a huge deal since I dont drive it much but I dont want to be stranded and have no way to start up the truck since its auto! Thx guys
  7. Where does one find a new dash anyways? I have the round kind and its all cracked to hell.... is it a pita to replace it (not changing anything) .....
  8. Hope the truck is in good shape...let us know how it goes!
  9. All the parts I've ordered from Rock Auto are fine... I got TRE's UCA & LCA bushings, front axles, sway bar bushings etc tons and tons of parts...... and now i have a new AC condenser and hoses and O rings since I had a bit of a fender bender... parts seem legit......
  10. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/18-rear-spring-options-for-lifting-your-wd21-pathy/page-9 Anyone have any ideas?
  11. So the progressive rate ones are no good? I found some new ones on rockauto for cheaper and no laobr trying to remove them from the junk yard! Moog Part # CC780 on rockauto.com http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=201280&cc=1182192
  12. Thats strange I have similar symptoms where it feels like the transmission doesn't want to downshift into 3rd or 2nd depending on the speed... which is tough when entering the freeways... I've already replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor etc ... one thing I haven't done is clean the MAF or replace the engine temp sensor - can someone point out where that thing is?
  13. Precise1, Nevermind I'm pretty sure I understand - but I noticed that when u say "flip the mounts" does that mean the passenger side goes to the drivers side? Because I see one mount that has the bend in it on the other side if I'm looking at this correctly. Is that right?
  14. Thanks! So to fit a D21 ARB to the WD21, you'd have to add the 2" extension to the underside mounts for it to fit or remove 2"? Since you guys said I'd have to either do a body lift or modify it.... http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc110/zyklus/Truck/ARB/101_1662.jpg Of course this guy is doing the reverse but he has a lift of some sort... I understand moving the mounts and it just appears to need to be cut and welded towards the top of the bumper.. I understand flipping the other mounts on the top and reinforcing them.... but its the bottom part that I'm unclear on. I think I'll wait to get the truck back to order one of these and see if someone down here can hack it up!
  15. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Pathfinder/1990_PATHFINDER_Body_Repair_Manual.pdf http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Hardbody/1996_D21_Truck/bt.pdf Not sure which pages I need to look at ....
  16. Well ironically the truck is in the body shop right now due to a frontal impact ruining the oem bumper... I'm wondering if its worth having the body shop weld this sucker up? Are there any photos of what the back of this thing looks like?
  17. Anyone know how I could make this fit before I buy it?
  18. What kind of changes would have to be made if I don't do a body lift exactly? Trying to find out from ARB if the hardbody version is still in production..
  19. http://store.arbusa.com/ARB-Deluxe-Bar-Nissan-Pickup-1991-97-3438050-P3315.aspx Since the 3438040 for the WD21 is discontinued from ARB would these work? I'm unsure if these have also discontinued..... if so, whats the next best thing? I love the look and the durability of the ARB Bull Bar but dying to find one.... let me know what you guys think!
  20. lol what are my options? I want something that can take an impact and not fork up my bumper...... ugh I really love that ARB! I guess I'm going with the EMU kit and raising up the truck.... got into a fender bender this AM and need something like a bull bar that's tough enough........ would a hardbody one work?
  21. Aww that ARB Bull bar is no longer manufactured Precise do you wanna sell yours? I know u do!
  22. Or should I Just order the kit at the very bottom? http://www.rocky-road.com/pathfindersus.html Not familiar with those shocks and have no clue how comfortable they are.

  24. Any chance you have a pic of what you're talking about for the pig tails and why do they need to be cut?
