  1. Hope the truck is in good shape...let us know how it goes!
  2. All the parts I've ordered from Rock Auto are fine... I got TRE's UCA & LCA bushings, front axles, sway bar bushings etc tons and tons of parts...... and now i have a new AC condenser and hoses and O rings since I had a bit of a fender bender... parts seem legit......
  3. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/18-rear-spring-options-for-lifting-your-wd21-pathy/page-9 Anyone have any ideas?
  4. So the progressive rate ones are no good? I found some new ones on rockauto for cheaper and no laobr trying to remove them from the junk yard! Moog Part # CC780 on rockauto.com http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=201280&cc=1182192
  5. Thats strange I have similar symptoms where it feels like the transmission doesn't want to downshift into 3rd or 2nd depending on the speed... which is tough when entering the freeways... I've already replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor etc ... one thing I haven't done is clean the MAF or replace the engine temp sensor - can someone point out where that thing is?
  6. Precise1, Nevermind I'm pretty sure I understand - but I noticed that when u say "flip the mounts" does that mean the passenger side goes to the drivers side? Because I see one mount that has the bend in it on the other side if I'm looking at this correctly. Is that right?
  7. Thanks! So to fit a D21 ARB to the WD21, you'd have to add the 2" extension to the underside mounts for it to fit or remove 2"? Since you guys said I'd have to either do a body lift or modify it.... http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc110/zyklus/Truck/ARB/101_1662.jpg Of course this guy is doing the reverse but he has a lift of some sort... I understand moving the mounts and it just appears to need to be cut and welded towards the top of the bumper.. I understand flipping the other mounts on the top and reinforcing them.... but its the bottom part that I'm unclear on. I think I'll wait to get the truck back to order one of these and see if someone down here can hack it up!
  8. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Pathfinder/1990_PATHFINDER_Body_Repair_Manual.pdf http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Hardbody/1996_D21_Truck/bt.pdf Not sure which pages I need to look at ....
  9. Well ironically the truck is in the body shop right now due to a frontal impact ruining the oem bumper... I'm wondering if its worth having the body shop weld this sucker up? Are there any photos of what the back of this thing looks like?
  10. Anyone know how I could make this fit before I buy it?
  11. What kind of changes would have to be made if I don't do a body lift exactly? Trying to find out from ARB if the hardbody version is still in production..
  12. http://store.arbusa.com/ARB-Deluxe-Bar-Nissan-Pickup-1991-97-3438050-P3315.aspx Since the 3438040 for the WD21 is discontinued from ARB would these work? I'm unsure if these have also discontinued..... if so, whats the next best thing? I love the look and the durability of the ARB Bull Bar but dying to find one.... let me know what you guys think!
  13. lol what are my options? I want something that can take an impact and not fork up my bumper...... ugh I really love that ARB! I guess I'm going with the EMU kit and raising up the truck.... got into a fender bender this AM and need something like a bull bar that's tough enough........ would a hardbody one work?
  14. Aww that ARB Bull bar is no longer manufactured Precise do you wanna sell yours? I know u do!
  15. Or should I Just order the kit at the very bottom? http://www.rocky-road.com/pathfindersus.html Not familiar with those shocks and have no clue how comfortable they are.
  16. http://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/MC/2244-07134389.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=ff&utm_content=MC&utm_campaign=PartsGeek+Google+Base&utm_term=1993-1998+Jeep+Grand+Cherokee+Coil+Spring+Set+Moog+CC782+Front+93-98+Jeep+Coil+Spring+Set+1995+1997&fp=pp&gbm=a&gclid=CKPX2-24x7gCFSFyQgodAg4A9w Like these?
  17. Any chance you have a pic of what you're talking about for the pig tails and why do they need to be cut?
  18. what year JGC am I looking for? And how do they need to be modified? (pig tails removed?)
  19. Yes guys I know what the purpose of shocks are for. lol.. I have an Acura NSX with KW V3 Coilovers 15-way compression / rebound adjustable and ride height adjustable.... It's just been a long time since I've ever wanted to RAISE a vehicle and not lower it.
  20. I'm guessing we're talking about the rear shocks from the JGC? Or are the ones from the front the ones I want? Also I would be going with the bilstein 5100 shocks which will allow for the ~2" lift...
  21. http://www.jcwhitney.com/rancho-spacer-kit-rear-quicklift/p2020010.jcwx?filterid=d1686y1995g119j1 would these spacers sit on top of the springs in the rear and if I get new UCA's I'd be done?
  22. I'm not sure what you mean by adding spacers on the ball joints and adding 3.5" torsion crank? wouldn't that be 4.5" in the front??? Wouldn't that put too much stress on the ball joints? And what are 5.9L v8 JGC Springs with straightened pigtails? 4.5" in front and 3" in rear? can you post some pics I'm totally confused...
  23. Ok so whats the most cost effective way to get me a 2" suspension lift? Springs in the rear? (which ones?) new torsion bars or just reindex OEM? Would that be enough without causing any issues with the UCA being at a crazy angle or would I have to swap those out too? I'm trying to decide what's better body lift vs suspension lift? Precise1, you have both? So that gives you 4"?
  24. Haha nice! Should I Go with the 5100 Bilsteins or the 4600's? And I guess I should get all 5 wheels & tires so I have a spare... damn this is getting expensive lol
