  1. No, it stays about the same noise as I drive down the freeway.
  2. Lately when going on the freeway, either in fourth or fifth, around 3500 rpms, I get this sound of a turbo? Now I know I don't have a turbo, wish I did. But none the less it is only when under power. I'll let off the gas and the noise will stop but when I push the gas to maintain or accelerate. I get a turbo like whine. The noise doesn't happen when in 1-3 gears only when going high rpms, 50 mph above. Diff? Drive-line? Belts?
  3. WaRshington? Yeah I caught that. Why do you have so much rust? Were you continuously pulling on the bolt? That builds pressure and heat which leads to shearing. Try short high pressure hits, with a low impact hammer or a impact wrench to get old bolts out.
  4. Well I made it into the National Guard. Decided to go with 91M, which is a Bradley Mechanic.

      Good for you man!!

  5. I think you'd be the first, IIRC. Cut the pigtails and find out it it fits then see the result
  6. Ive never used mine. But I have heard that was what it was for, but I could be wrong.
  7. Would the button prehaps say Inter-Lock? This would not lock the diffs but lock the transmition, so you don't roll back as you start on a hill. The engine would be good for the rig but have you thought of the 3.3l swap, if you're going to swap why not do that?
  8. Just swap the engine. Should bolt right up to your tran. and fit perfectly. All you should have to do is the intake pipe, tubes and wires.
  9. SkiBumBrianI had the same problem, if it is the switch, thats easy. I blew about 7 or so fuses before I found out the a wire in one of the lights was shorting. The only thing I hadn't checked and it was an easy fix.
  10. MPG loss??? What? Maybe with a tiny point of drag but you shouldn't loss much, if any at all.
  11. Junk yard, the magical place to fine the parts you require. I got my head light there.
  12. But if you do that that is a sus. lift, he wants a body lift. But yes to could get RC uca's and JGC coils and do the same thing. It also might be cheaper and easier to install.
  13. Auto or manual? Well either way our rigs are pretty low geared but you will notice a power drop and like 2-4 mpg, IIRC. I myself I like the 3" body or sus. lifts with the 31's.
  14. I am pretty sure I wont mess up the gear ratio, as I would always pull one out of a manual(hg43) like mine is. If all else comes to fail, I know how to swap the gears.
  15. I was just wondering if I run to the JY and grab on out of another path, that I could just swap it out for my open diff. It should be a drop in right? I could probably get the diff for 20-30 bucks at PaP, if im lucky.
  16. How can I and what is the difficulty? I really would like one but if its better, I can just throw a ratcheting locker back there. But that eats rubber right?
  17. If that dosen't work, it might be the o2 sensor. And here is how to check codes http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/21-ecu-self-diagnostics-for-87-95-pathfinder/ Nissanland You have snow?
  18. Well im going to drop mine agian in a bit, since the bolts suck. Ill try and fill it with water ,after the gas is out, and see then if its the fuel pump or the tank.
  19. Sorry it took so long, it skipped my mind for a bit.
