  1. Why dont you like the center? It was updated for your year -Kyle
  2. Never said you were buddy, just making sure. -Kyle
  3. i think the manual says it wants 80W-90, but 75W works just fine, i'm running the exact same thing, in my rig, with all the rain we have been having, i can attest that my rear LSD is working just fine, Was it LSD safe oil? Stupid question, but someone was going to ask it. -Kyle
  4. I didn't either. I don't why you'd have to. I did have to break it off on the donor car I pulled the fixed antenna off of though. But that's because only half the fender was in tact, the rest was smashed into the engine bay. -Kyle
  5. It sits behind the fender and mounts to the uni-body itself. To which the antenna cable will find its way through, with a grommet. So, I'd take the wheel off to get super easy access, and then gently pop and release the inner fender liner. I've got some pictures if you want? -Kyle
  6. Here you go, http://m.summitracing.com/search/department/wheels-tires/brand/pro-comp-wheels/section/wheels/wheel-diameter/16-in/wheel-width-in/8-000-in/wheel-bolt-pattern/6-x-5-1-2-in/backspacing-in/4-000-in I got it off my phone, so the link might not transfer, but apparently they do not make a 16X8 3.75" backspacing wheel, they do make a 4" though, should be close enough. Hope that helps, check out the wheel fitment thread in the R50 pinned section to see what others have done to get their wheel and tire combo to fit. It's a better source than trying to post a thread asking what people have had, and it keep the forum clean of repetitive posts. Let me know you have any other questions. -Kyle
  7. 16X7 seems like a strange size. I think that might be your problem. I'm assuming you are trying to match your old wheel dimensions in order to keep your old wheels? You should be able to run a 8" wide wheel without issues. When I went from a 15X7 to a 15X8 tires fit right on. Check out pro comp wheels on summit racing. They are really inexpensive and look great! -Kyle
  8. I had a squek before, went to OEM bearings, still squeaked, do they need to be greased? -Kyle
  9. Yup, 01silverpathy did that. Check his posts/ build thread.
  10. I have the exact same problem, less than 10,000 miles on my KYB struts, OEM bearings and isolators. However I had this issue before, but my suspension needs an overhaul, so it may be control arm bushings or something else? But if someone knows, can someone please post! -Kyle
  11. Change your diff fluid. My tires were doing something similar (not cherping but could tell the difference wasn't happy) I Put some fresh Mobil one, LSD safe fluid, problem solved. -Kyle
  12. You've got to help to help me get a 32 in the states then!!! I was looking in the BC craigslist, guys are wanting 10K for a GTS-T!!!! And is that 6-8K of your Canadian funny money, or US dollars? -Kyle
  13. I don't think it was twin turbo, but there was a guy who did a single turbo his pathy, and everyone was concerned about his auto VQ tranny blowing up, which, from my understanding, it did, he was trying to source a manual 350Z trans to do a swap, but i never heard anything after that. -Kyle
  14. I take it the lights you are referring to are not on your roof like in your avatar picture? -Kyle
  15. Would you at all be interested in do a write up or some pictures of you setup? I'm looking at doing a rear battery relocation with an eventual dual battery mod, and seeing an example would greatly motivate me. Wish you well with the mods! -Kyle
  16. Still convinced it's a Canadian thing, the oldest tire swing model I've seen in the states is a, 97. But I hope to have what you've got in terms of body with a conversion soon. -Kyle
  17. My old clunk just reared it's ugly head yesterday. Just as bad if not worse than before. Grrrrrrrrrr. Need to figure it out. Keep me posted and you troubleshoot. -Kyle
  18. Because we all know that while out brethren to the north is always welcome down south, they've had their same share of village idiots now and then, that will always be fun to make comments about. -Kyle
  19. I was going to run something along these lines, But that street wires distro block is SO CLEAN, but if its tucked away, This guy has tons of stuff like these, check out the relay section, things of beauty!! http://www.ceautoelectricsupply.com/Website%20Images/ATCfusedist_med.jpg
  20. If you take it to a shop, be ready for about 3-5 hours of labor time, it took my friend and I about 4 hours of cursing and complaining to get at my factory location. I'm not a fan of the relocation idea, IMHO if Nissan put in on the V of the engine valley, THEN DANGIT JIM I'M PUTTING IT BACK IN THE ENGINE VALLEY! -Kyle
  21. An updated R50 with a swing away, man you Canadians get all the good stuff!! Ahh, i ask because i had a good laugh when my 31" was installed, so anything bigger would be comical,
  22. That was the most helpful info-graphic i have ever come across, thank you!! -Kyle
  23. Yeah, i cant wait for Pathy to hit 25 years old, Stupid Smog, i might figure out a way to register it in some unincorporated county around me, I.E. NO SMOG!! HURRAY!! But i'm sure Greddy or some of the other guys have figured out a way to beef up the VQ's transmissions, Guys run 1000 HP RB's and TT VQ's all day long. Maybe they all switched to tremec?
  24. Have fun trying to fit a VK56 under the hood of anything. But now that Nissan is putting VK's in their new NV work vans, VK's should be flooding the second hand market. But they are a few companies who make VK to VG adapter's don't know about the VQ transmission's, some say it bolts right up, same say its way different, i haven't really looked into it. Do you have build threads for them? i'd love to see more, especially if either of them is over 500 HP?!?! How much will a decent GTR set a Canadian back these days, I've been thinking about picking on up as they are SO close to being legal in the states. -Kyle
