Noob question but what is the reason behind this swap?

Ok thanks yeah I have read your thread a lot and everytime I read something new. And ill have to take a better look into the cooler. Now to get another tranny pan so I can drive mine while I het everything ready.

Hey guys i just got in the mail my Hayden 18,000 GVW tranny cooler Magnefine inline filter Autometer tranny guage I was talking to my buddy about how would i ground out my inline T-fiiting with the sending unit in it? He says i should just weld up a bung in the tranny pan and put the sending unit there. What do you guys think about that? And when i run the oil line to the new cooler ( side ports) Do i run the oil line coming from the tranny into the top or bottom port? Im a Tig welder so welding in the bung will not cost me anything. I would run a 90 coming out of it then the unit so it wont be sticking straight down. Thanks Guys

I have searched and searched for episode vids but nothing. Nothing on youtube either. kinda sucks and there really isnt any pics of it done. I have it recorded and i will try and take some pics of it with my phone and post them.

Sorry for bringing up a old thread but what happended to this pathy? I came across this pathy when my tv recorded it and it was the last episode. To me they put way to big of tires on it and it didnt even look functional (fenders sitting on the tires). Not sure how long ago this episode was shot but just wondering where its at now?

That last pic you took is great!!!!! Like 918 said in my mind i pictured it totaled but the pathy took its beating looks like he put up a good fight with that rock. lol Looks like you guys had a blast i def want to go next time.

Like said before glad you and your family are ok and stuff happens man don't beat your self up over it you did your best and you and your family are safe becuase of it. And if you need help working on the pathy just let me know I don't mind lending a hand.

Anything is possible with the seats it depends on how much time you want to invest making them work. I had nissan 720 buckets in my hardbody that fit fine but i did have to use spacers. I used some nice chrome ones from ace. And like nunya said the integra seats will fit in there. Im not sure how hard they would be but they are a very common seat to see in the hardbodys. Take a look over on infamousnissan.com I just did a search and alot of stuff popped up From nissan 350z,240,frontiers to newer pathy to prelude and acura. They where saying the 350z bolt up pretty nicly but there will be spacers on one of the legs.You can also look at swapping your old pathy seat rails to the newer seats.

Thats crazy!!!!! Glad you and your family are ok. So what made you go off a cliff? And i really like my little stock bumper but i guess i will need to build a bigger one. In your case the bumper isnt there for show like alot of rigs. Its cool to see that it helped save your truck.

Im not sure on that but i know when i was having my lifter noizes on my hardbody and was searching everything i came across several things under the hood that raddled and made a similiar sound my dipstick was one lol.

Some Sexy Flexy The body is just sitting on there just to give you guys an idea of what it will look like. The guy made custom threaded links and they are not equal so the wheels stick further out on the front and back.

Not sure if this is ok to post here so mods feel free to move where you like I picked up a little losi micro crawler off craigslist for $30 and when i got it home i new exactly what i was going to use it for. I have a extended cab nissan hardbody model that has been sitting for some time now but after measuring some parts i thought it would be better to put my pathyfinder body on it and make a mini Woody. The stock losi wheels are way to big for the little pathfinder body so i had to make the model wheel and tires fit the losi axles. They are still big but much better for the scale look im going for. This will be a slow build but i plan on using the model chassie or making my own for it and lots of detail i want it to look like my pathy but micro Ok on to the pics.

Heading back home This was in Paysen when we stopped to stretch our legs. Yesterday i decided i was going to swap the front clip with some parts i had laying in storage. I took all the stock black 3peice bumper off and installed a 1peice chrome bumper from a hardbody and then put on a chrome pathy grill and had to do some trimming but i was able to get the chrome hardbody corner lights on. I think it looks much better. The front bumper has a dent but it will get swapped out with a new bumper here soon. MY pathy, Hardbody, And 4dr hardbody in the garage What do you guys think?

I think thats what i will do Hopefully i can find some on craigslist Sounds good to me and your pathys setup is what im wanting to do so seeing it in person will give me a good idea of what im shooting for. The wheels that are on my pathy are they stock? I have been searching the internet and craigslist and I can't seem to find any. I'm really wanting just one for a spare. Not sure if you can buy them new or not? Thanks guys.

I would use seafoam. I did a lot of searching on it and a lot of people liked it and seemed to work for them. The only negative was from the guys that haven't used it before. I ran it in my oil for 40 miles and it broke down alot of carbon in my engine. I didn't want to run it for 200 miles with that stuff floating around. But that's up to you. The longer its in there the more it will break down I guess but i plan on doing it in stages and if you run it through your vac line that goes into your intake your gonna want to replace the spark plugs after a couple miles becuase it will foul them. There is a couple of vids on youtube of how to use seafoam but went you watch them run it through there vac line they drown the engine with the last little bit to where it kills the engine. I wouldn't recommend doing that from what I read it will hyperlock your engine. And don't feel bad about asking questions this is what these forums are for. And when it comes to the oil I'm not sure what to run. It currently has 5/30 in but I am also getting some light noise from the lifters not sure if I should swap to 10/30 and ill prob run some Lucas in it too but someone will chime in. I still get confused on weight to run in my engine with the AZ temps.

X2 on the seafoam I ran it in my ka24 and it had a stuck lifter. I ran half in my engine oil and the other half through the vac line off my brake booster. I let it suck it out real slow and let it run for 15mins. In that 15 the stuck lifter stopped. The engine runs SOOOO much better then it did before. Better throttle responce and accle. I would try that first. O and do it at night if you live in a naborhood becuase your going to make a lot of smoke.
