  1. I have power mirrors on my hardbody and pathy but i want to swap my chrome ones on the hardbody to the pathy and the black ones onto the hardbody? I pulled the panel on the hardbody and was thinking there would be just a quick and easy connector but its wired straight into my harness. Not sure yet if my pathy is the same way? If so would it be ok if i just cut the wires and put some electrical connectors to make swapping them easier for the future? Kinda a stupid question but i wanted to see what you guys thought before i go cutting wires. Thanks Guys

It only cost $30 for oil change from Nissan and they give you a free wash. And I'm gonna do the plugs my self. I'm going to run ngk and ill prob have them put 10w30 instead of the 5w30 becuase summer is coming up.

    oil filter?

I would do it my self but those plugs look like a bitch to do and I never liked changing the belts. My buddy that's a mechanic said he would do it for me. But I'm gonna have Nissan do the oil change becuase I don't have anything to catch the oil and store it and they will wash my pathy for freeeeeee and it needs a bath lol.

    oil filter?

Thanks guys for the feedback. Junta thanks that would be great. Maybe another sticky? Lol. And I used fram on my z24 and my ka24 and I have had problems with both engines. Not sure if it had something to do with the fram filter but I have read bad things on other Nissan forums about them. So I'm staying away from them. I like them becuase they had the little grip part on the end. Always helped installing them. I never use filter wrenchs!!!! But thanks again guys.

    oil filter?

Ok I have heard a lot of bad things when it comes to fram oil filters and this and that about other filters. I'm going to be doing a tune up and was wondering what is the best oil filter for my 94 v6 pathy. I have searched and I couldn't find anything on this topic or any brand of filter. People just state that they replaced there oil filter and don't give a brand. So if you guys would can you please help me out on this? Thanks Ryan. Oyeah what oil do you guys recommend for my pathy that has 174,000 in the AZ summer that gets up to 115? Brand and weight?
  9. Yeah I took it apart and cleaned it. Mine had some of that white electrical grease in it so I cleaned all that out real good and added new grease same kind and it did work for about a week then it started acting up again so I said screw it and bought a new one.
  10. There was a ad on craigslist about tires from a small mom and POP shop. I went down there and they had them in stock along with a set of 33/12.50 but I got the 31s for now till I get my lifts installed. My girlfriend was trying to get me to get the 33s bad lol she kept telling me to go big or go home. Lol she's crazy. She would have @!*% when they would of hit the fender at turn for the first time.
  11. Ok cool yeah the blocks looked good as far as cracks or anything. There was some spots that where smashed but don't seem like they will hurt anything.
  12. Did you like it? Anything to look out for with these blocks?
  13. Well some of you may luagh but these only cost me $4 to make well actually i got paid to make them while i was at work. These are just a test to see if they will work (pins hold up) I took them to the belt sander to clean of the paint and to make them slide into the tubing better. The tubing is made of aircraft stainless and i found it in my junk drawer of my toolbox. Nice fit After measuring them up i found out where the tubing needs to be and then tacked welded them. We have a full blown machine shop on the other side of our building but all the machines where being used so we went this route. After they where drilled i deburred them and blasted the link ends and cleaned them all up. Let me know what you guys think. Oyeah what else do i need to button up the body lift? I have Blocks and hardware Front bumper mounts Drive shaft drop brackets and hardware Hardbody shifter Things i need Gas filler hose Gas vent line Power steering hose E-brake drop down brackets Transmission & transfer case extension? What is this? ???? Thanks Guys
  14. I ended up going back to the junk yard and pulling the body lift along with some other parts. I paid $40 for the body lift and $15 for all the other stuff. I dont have any before pics but i took them to work and blasted them along with scribe a # 1-10 so i know where they go. After i pulled them i got to looking and found that it had the bumper relocater brackets and the drive shaft hoop extenders. I also grabbed the rear sway bar rods that connect it to the frame and i grabbed some factory front bumper mounts to hopfully mod and make work rather then the aftermarket tabs. And i grabbed a 4x4 hardbody transfer case shifter. Im not sure what all i needed so i grabbed what i have in the pics. The very end of the shifter that connects to the transfer case looks a little to small compared to my pathy. Any thoguhts on that?
  15. Thanks man and i am def enjoying the Pathy. I think my girlfriend likes it more then me lol and my little girl falls right to sleep when she hears those MT roaring down the road. And im Glad his name isnt Boner i think i would have to change that one lol
  16. I tried finding the insys usa kit on ebay but that was a no go. I then googled to fine there site but they want $200 for the pathy kit!!!!
  17. I had some wacky problems with my high and low beams. I ended up just replacing the whole light switch that attachs to the steering column and no more problems.
  18. ^ like he is saying look into the king of the Hammers style rigs Or Rock Racers. Rock crawler/Trophy truck Search Shannon Campbell he is the @!*% and his shop is right down the road from my house. He did some wrok on my dads jeep before i knew who he was. Him and his Brother Nick are cool guys and there Work is flawless And let the fun begin
  19. Heading to the junk yard in the morning to pull some susp parts along with the bodylift i found on a pathy. Any AZ guys looking for a disc brake rearend for there WD21 they have one i will go ahead and soak all the bolts in Kroil while im there.

  20. Thanks I was wondering where my coolant sensor was. Is the egr valve up top like picture shows or is it located under on the block?
  21. Thanks guys I'm glad you guys like it!!!! I trimmed a couple things up and I think I may be able to link it. At least in the rear to make it more scale to my 1/1.
  22. I'm going to the junkyard to pull some parts this weekend and might snatch some parts to do this swap. But I see the pic and its on the pathy but have you wheeled it yet? Like said before above this isn't for hardcore wheelers and that's good I don't plan on doing that just some medium wheeling and trails with a susp lift. At work we have a machine shop so I may just buy the tap myself and have the guys here do it. May be able to help some guys out if I do go through with getting the tap.
  23. I got this little guy for free at the hobby shop Once i get all the stuff thats hanging up it will sit a bit lower and look more scale. Hope you guys like
  24. Hey guys i got some more stuff done to the little guy and figured i would share the progress. I picked this up from ebay Already black i plan on making the green one a still model in a desert scene crawling some rocks it will look like MR. Jims rig. I made some tranny brackets that mount in the pre existing holes of the model and rc tranny. The screws are just for mock up You can see here the start of the rear susp. I know!!!! I know!!!! Leafs!!!!! but the rod ends to link it are just so big that it will make it hard to make work besides how cool will little leafs be. The leaf mounts dont hang down that low You can see here with the trans brackets i made the trans sits pretty low in the body
  25. So i went to the this junk yard to pick up a trans pan for the pathy (45min drive) but after i got there they said they didnt have anything like that go figure. But they did have other nissan trans and infinity and was wondering if any other pan will match up to mine? But after walking around the nissan section and checking out there pathys i noticed this one sat up higher then the rest. I then noticed it had a body lift you can see in the pic that it is octogon. Not sure if its custom made or an old kit but all the mounts where the same. Sorry for the crappy pic my sprint evo camera is starting to take a @!*%. Looks to be a 3" but i can get them and the hardware for $40 or less becuase im buying other stuff off the pathy. But would it be worth it? I would still need to figure out the front bumper brackets and trans extensions however those work? I might try to send 4x4parts a email and see if they can sell me those brackets seperate along with there rad drop bracket and the body lift gap mats. What do you guys think pull them or leave them? I also plan on pulling the idler arm off the same pathy so i can use it to jig up a brace im going to make and the rear swaybar rods i plan on drilling them and making my own disconnects. Then next to the pathy is a couple hardbodys that im going to take the centerlink off of and get that all ready to install when i lift it. If i pull this idler arm off can i rebuild it? If so where do i get the parts from? And can i add a grease fitting into it? Or would it be better just to buy a new one from autozone for $45? Something else that im wondering is im taking it that the pathy with the bodylift also had a susp lift becuase both the upper arms where gone and everything else was there but maybe not becuase the rear springs looked stock and the shocks where solid red not sure if those are after market or not. I wish i could tell becuase i wouldnt mind picking the springs up if i new that they where lift springs. Another thing the pathy had disc brakes on the rear axle so didnt only SE,LE come with those not XE? Im taking it that it was a XE becuase it had normal shocks on it and not the sport or comfort shocks. I didnt happen to look at the rear to see What it was.
