I ended up going back to the junk yard and pulling the body lift along with some other parts. I paid $40 for the body lift and $15 for all the other stuff. I dont have any before pics but i took them to work and blasted them along with scribe a # 1-10 so i know where they go. After i pulled them i got to looking and found that it had the bumper relocater brackets and the drive shaft hoop extenders. I also grabbed the rear sway bar rods that connect it to the frame and i grabbed some factory front bumper mounts to hopfully mod and make work rather then the aftermarket tabs. And i grabbed a 4x4 hardbody transfer case shifter. Im not sure what all i needed so i grabbed what i have in the pics. The very end of the shifter that connects to the transfer case looks a little to small compared to my pathy. Any thoguhts on that?

Thanks guys I'm glad you guys like it!!!! I trimmed a couple things up and I think I may be able to link it. At least in the rear to make it more scale to my 1/1.

Custom 2WD steering system conversion
Balln replied to Tungsten's topic in Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab
I'm going to the junkyard to pull some parts this weekend and might snatch some parts to do this swap. But I see the pic and its on the pathy but have you wheeled it yet? Like said before above this isn't for hardcore wheelers and that's good I don't plan on doing that just some medium wheeling and trails with a susp lift. At work we have a machine shop so I may just buy the tap myself and have the guys here do it. May be able to help some guys out if I do go through with getting the tap. -
I got this little guy for free at the hobby shop Once i get all the stuff thats hanging up it will sit a bit lower and look more scale. Hope you guys like

Hey guys i got some more stuff done to the little guy and figured i would share the progress. I picked this up from ebay Already black i plan on making the green one a still model in a desert scene crawling some rocks it will look like MR. Jims rig. I made some tranny brackets that mount in the pre existing holes of the model and rc tranny. The screws are just for mock up You can see here the start of the rear susp. I know!!!! I know!!!! Leafs!!!!! but the rod ends to link it are just so big that it will make it hard to make work besides how cool will little leafs be. The leaf mounts dont hang down that low You can see here with the trans brackets i made the trans sits pretty low in the body

So i went to the this junk yard to pick up a trans pan for the pathy (45min drive) but after i got there they said they didnt have anything like that go figure. But they did have other nissan trans and infinity and was wondering if any other pan will match up to mine? But after walking around the nissan section and checking out there pathys i noticed this one sat up higher then the rest. I then noticed it had a body lift you can see in the pic that it is octogon. Not sure if its custom made or an old kit but all the mounts where the same. Sorry for the crappy pic my sprint evo camera is starting to take a @!*%. Looks to be a 3" but i can get them and the hardware for $40 or less becuase im buying other stuff off the pathy. But would it be worth it? I would still need to figure out the front bumper brackets and trans extensions however those work? I might try to send 4x4parts a email and see if they can sell me those brackets seperate along with there rad drop bracket and the body lift gap mats. What do you guys think pull them or leave them? I also plan on pulling the idler arm off the same pathy so i can use it to jig up a brace im going to make and the rear swaybar rods i plan on drilling them and making my own disconnects. Then next to the pathy is a couple hardbodys that im going to take the centerlink off of and get that all ready to install when i lift it. If i pull this idler arm off can i rebuild it? If so where do i get the parts from? And can i add a grease fitting into it? Or would it be better just to buy a new one from autozone for $45? Something else that im wondering is im taking it that the pathy with the bodylift also had a susp lift becuase both the upper arms where gone and everything else was there but maybe not becuase the rear springs looked stock and the shocks where solid red not sure if those are after market or not. I wish i could tell becuase i wouldnt mind picking the springs up if i new that they where lift springs. Another thing the pathy had disc brakes on the rear axle so didnt only SE,LE come with those not XE? Im taking it that it was a XE becuase it had normal shocks on it and not the sport or comfort shocks. I didnt happen to look at the rear to see What it was.

Noob question but what is the reason behind this swap?
-
Ok thanks yeah I have read your thread a lot and everytime I read something new. And ill have to take a better look into the cooler. Now to get another tranny pan so I can drive mine while I het everything ready.

Hey guys i just got in the mail my Hayden 18,000 GVW tranny cooler Magnefine inline filter Autometer tranny guage I was talking to my buddy about how would i ground out my inline T-fiiting with the sending unit in it? He says i should just weld up a bung in the tranny pan and put the sending unit there. What do you guys think about that? And when i run the oil line to the new cooler ( side ports) Do i run the oil line coming from the tranny into the top or bottom port? Im a Tig welder so welding in the bung will not cost me anything. I would run a 90 coming out of it then the unit so it wont be sticking straight down. Thanks Guys

Sorry for bringing up a old thread but what happended to this pathy? I came across this pathy when my tv recorded it and it was the last episode. To me they put way to big of tires on it and it didnt even look functional (fenders sitting on the tires). Not sure how long ago this episode was shot but just wondering where its at now? -

Other Nissan's with swappable interior parts?
Balln replied to ChatWithaNinja's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Anything is possible with the seats it depends on how much time you want to invest making them work. I had nissan 720 buckets in my hardbody that fit fine but i did have to use spacers. I used some nice chrome ones from ace. And like nunya said the integra seats will fit in there. Im not sure how hard they would be but they are a very common seat to see in the hardbodys. Take a look over on infamousnissan.com I just did a search and alot of stuff popped up From nissan 350z,240,frontiers to newer pathy to prelude and acura. They where saying the 350z bolt up pretty nicly but there will be spacers on one of the legs. You can also look at swapping your old pathy seat rails to the newer seats.
