  10. Check the wheel weights, yo may have knocked a wheel(s) out of balance, mine wobbled like crazy once i hit 50+ MPH, took it down and all the tires balanced, and it is alot better now. My rear wheels had no wieghts on them at all.
  11. Would a center link from a 1st generation Xterra work on a Pathfinder Wd21?
  12. What is the first gear ratio for a auto? The crawl ratio is the lower the number (I.E. 10) better then say 50 or do i have it backwards, and for a auto i would multipliy x 2
  13. Thats good to know, I guess it would probably equal out, the Jeep Liberty had 3.73 gears w/ 2.72:1 low range. The Pathfinder is 4.6? gears 2.62:1 low range, Would it come out to the same?
  14. What is the Ratio in the Transfer case on a Pathfinder? I know in the couple of jeeps i have had in the past a Liberty and a Wrangler they were 2.72:1, what is a the ratio on a Pathfinder?
  15. I am going to take the top part of the timing cover today and check. One thing i did notice when i eas looking down at the water pump, atleast the part that sticks out, I noticed that it is probably the cleanest part of the engine I would think if its about a 13 year old water pump it would be pretty gunked up, but it is still worth checking it out.
  16. The tensioner would show alot of wear wouldnt it, if that has not been changed in almost 13 years
  17. There is a sticker on the air box a its hard to read but it looks like the timing was done in 99 at 78000 miles, and it has 187xxx miles on it now. that was almost 13 years ago, that belt should be pretty worn and the tensioner should ha a groove wore in it by now.
  18. Son of a !!!, mine is the ball joint on driver side the idler arm connects to the center link, it steers fine and seems ok pretty tight, just the rubber "boot" on it is cracked and torn
  19. Are the ball joints on a center lnk ends replacable, I have one that have the rubber boot all tore up on it. I been looking at online at Checker, Autozone, but they dont show it, only the entire center link. Its the boot that is on the Power steering side
  20. I have tried to locate the guy, and even left him a not on his door, no response. But i got some guidence from KOVEMAN on how to check it and what to remove and what to look for. So iam going to check it tomorrow
