  1. What is a easy way to tell if you have a rear locker? I was on a dirt road today and i gave the truck a little throtle from a stand still and had a "rooster tail" flying from both rear tires. Would that be cuz it has a locker or is that a normal thing with the LSD
  2. I have the same problem, my locks will randomly lock and unlock multiple times when i am driving sometimes
  3. I have the shorty style headers, I was able to rub off some of the dirt/mud and they look like a blueish chrome. Do headers also increase gas mileage some as well?

  5. I thought the VG30E already had 153 hp and 180 torque stock, and adding headers and a cat back exhaust it would increase those numbers by a certain percentage

  8. yes, the guy was asking 1200 OBO and before i could make a offer he said if you give me 850 cash now its yours. So it was a no brainer I have some pics. I am gonna try to post them tonite my wife has the USB cord
  9. I got the starting issue figured out, just went through all the wiring had a couple of things loose tightened everything up and it starts great now.
  10. there is a junkyard about 10 miles from my house and they have like 6+ Pathfinders I think i should be able to find the skid plates I need there, maybe even a couple of other cool things

Its kinda cool though, I paid 850 for the truck and it had a air compressor under the hood custom front and rear bumpers and rock sliders that are all welded to the frame and found out it also has headers and it has a 3" BL and some suspension lift (maybe 2"). The truck has approximately 185570 miles on it all it really needs is TLC
  12. I wonder if jacking up the oppisit side of the drain plug and see if rolls or floats toward the drain plug hole, i dont know if it would work but maybe gravity will work for you
  13. the previous owner had 2 ground wires one that was connected to a air compressor and the battery and one just hanging, I disconncted the compressor and its ground cable and hooked up the other cable and what do you know, it starts alot easier. The starter seems to spins faster, that must have drained some of the power
  14. how much of a increase of horsepower and torque does headers and a Cherrybomb catback exhaust add to the engine
  15. Dude, that ROCKS mine look like the Thorleys if there is no difference in the VG30i and the VG30e, I have headers. and I only paid $850.00 for my truck

  17. mine are shaped like those in the pics. but they are not shiny they are kinda have a nice dust/dirt/mud layer on them. I also do not have a Doug Thorley emblem on them . Is the Thorley headers the only one available or are there others?
  18. Does anyone have pics there 95' and older Pathfinders with the VG30E motor with headers? If so could you please post up pics of them. I cheated and got my Pathfinder already lifted and it had some mods. done to it and I think mine has headers but need a pic. of the stock ones and one with headers to compare. So if you have have pics can i please see them.

  21. Soon as it gets light here i will go and check all of my connections, it is probably something real easy like a loose wire
  22. I have had to "TAP" the solenoid like 2 to 3 times, but mainly just bang the starter. 7 times out of 10 it starts just fine, kinda scares me to take it out in the woods dont want to get stranded. I think I might just have to buy a new starter
  23. I got thr starter used, but had it tested at Autozone 3 times and it passed everytime. The starter had the whole cable harness on it but i took it off and reused my old one, and it still would not start. So i used the other cable and it starts now just not all the time, i am going to check the starter relay. Is the starter relay on the drivers side, cuz i have 2 relays there by the cannister is it one of those. thank you guys so much for your insight and help it is very much appreciated
