  1. Sorry that was my bad P0420 is a bad cat.
  2. If I am not mistaken I think the P0440 code is your catalytic converter, I could be wrong so dont quote me (LOL)I am still learning, but I am sure of the experts will chime in and corrrect if i am wrong
  3. That would be pretty cool, I would like to see some pics. of various options.
  4. It sounds more severe than just a fluid/filter change. Does it go in reverse?
  5. Maybe check out ARB/OME, they have suspension lifts for you year make and model, I think they are about 2". If that helps
  6. Check your negative battery cable, the problem might be there. I am not a expert but i had sa similar issue on mine. BGut I am sure the experts will chime in.
  7. My son and I replaced the header collector gaskets.
  8. I just went to start it this morning, and let it run for a few minutes. there was no blue smoke, but the water droplets in the tip of the exhuast, and when I gave a little gas, watery black carbon shot out all on the rim and tire of the truck parked next to me. (WHOOPS). I know some water droplets are nomal but is with the black carbon like stuff, or is that just cuz my exhuast is probably 10 years old and i have a exhaust leak coming from the flange by the O2 sensor
  9. The timing was off a bit the timing marks were not not even lined up, But now it seems to smoke a bit. When Ifirst start it if I give it a little gas some blue smoke comes from the exhaust, once it warms up it seems fine, Also at start up when you give it a little gas, there will be what appears to be water on the ground by the tail pipe and water droplets in the exhaust pipe, the engine does not overheat, the temp gauge goes about a 1/4+/- when fully warmed up. would the smoking exhaust be bad valves or something else
  10. If the 91 Terrano has the same motor as a 91 Pathfinder here, K&N has a drop in filter the part number is 33-2031-2. If that helps
  11. It could that you IAC and or MAF sensor need to be cleaned, I am not a expert like alot of the guys on here. But Iam sure the experts will chime in, Just in case if Iam wrong
  12. I had a similar issue, and it turned out to be my lower balljoint.
  13. I got the timing done the other day, The belt and the water pump were changed out a couple of years ago according to the mechanic, they were in pretty good shape. It was the tensioner that was seriously shot it kinda grinded when it spun...But we went ahead and changed everything the belt/tensioner, and waterpump. Wow, what a differnece that made the truck runs way better.
  14. WOW!! That is a serious "REDNECK" lift...but i bet it rides like a caddy.....NOT
  15. I was bummed that could not go with guys...but when I changed my lower ball joint (pass. side) it seperated, the second we popped it loose, I knew it needed to be changed, I just didnt think it was that bad kinda scary.
  16. Had the timing belt/tensioner and water pump done today, and replaced 2 ball joints. My T-belt tensioner had a small groove worn into it from T-Belt. and it was little out of time, but now its ready to ROCK.

  20. The damage is not that bad at all. not as bad as I pictured in my mind. I have to agree some one was looking out for you and your family. The truck could always be replaced AWESOME pics Raf. look foward to seeing the video.
  21. I gave it a oil change after the Seafoam was in the crankcase for about a 100 miles, and it was black> It sounds way better now, and I figured out where my exhaust leak is coming from, I had a nut missing on of the studs, and one nut was loose. The other exhaust leaks are comig from the header and "Y" pipe connections so thats a easy fix just couple of gaskets. Thanks guys for your input VERY helpfull
