  1. is the passanger or driver side? ... it's most likely the oilpan gasket ... especially in the rear corners which are prone to leaking ... the oil pressure sender is just to the rear of the oil filter ...
  2. good job ... so how are the road manners?
  3. you wont have to do anything with the tranny shifter ... but you may have to bend the transfer case shifter and/or notch the floor out to accomodate it ...
  4. probably some accessory that was never installed in your rig ...
  5. not really given their construction ... they are far more durable, and have all the hardware, are TRULY powedercoated (unlike A/C) and they come with new ball joints too ... cant go wrong with that ...
  6. hehe ... easy man.... I know I know ... pathy mark - yes if you get a wide enough wheel spacer .. sure it will work ... provided the SPACER even fits over it ... how big of a spacer? no one here knows 'cause no one has used them, and to date I think you and I are the only ones that have considered using them ... you could buy new rims... the ONLY OTHER ALTERNATIVE IS TO GET THE RIMS MACHINED... thats it ... k? hoped that helps clear up anything ...
  7. there aren't that many vacuum hoses for either the z24 or the vg30 ... you should be able to visually inspect everything and should notice if anything is missing ... the REAL thing to look out is to see if there are any that are cracked, or not sealing properly in which case they will need to be cut down and remounted provided there is still enough length ... a TBI to manifold leak could be considered a vacuum leak too ... so check that ... an easy way to check it all is to spray certain areas with a can of engine start ... any leaks will suck it in and you will hear the idle go up on the engine ...
  8. thats what mine does ... shows lower than it really is ... darn auxillary guage doesn't show right either ... but I have had that thing pretty low before and still had to put about 19 gallons in it ...
  9. I bought my Pathfinder out of neccesity ... my old POS subaru was dieing and needed a replacement ... then after taking my new used pathy to the beach a couple of times, and up simple logging roads, I decided I needed bigger.... hehe.... thats pretty much how it began for me ...
  10. well ... if the O2 sensor isn't getting all the exhaust that it should, that could be a problem ... however, the sensor is a regular service part ... it should be changed out anyways ...
  11. I used to just put pieces of rubber on the inside part of the hinge so when I closed it, it would pinch the rubber and it wouldn't rattle anymore ... I used pieces of rubber hose ... seems to work just fine
  12. who is it that is selling that kit?
  13. unless you had a 5" wheel adapter
  14. interesting ... i'll have to test that out ... I've never had to use 4wd after putting my body lift on ... i'll have to check it out ... hey ... aren't the hardbody shift levers longer too? ... even it it was like an inch longer that would be sweet ...
  15. thats pretty lame ... I can see the TM lift doing that ... but just uca's? ... that is just stupid
  16. I just dont use sway bars ... I think that it just takes a certain finess to make it work for ya without waggin'

    Fuel Leak

I find it funny that any of you guys would keep driving your rigs with the strong smell of gas ...
  18. I must be the only guy who didn't have to notch or bend the tcase shifter ... mine works fine ... I only wish it were longer ...
  19. they will work great for winches ... just do NOT use the side post terminals to hook the winch or any other continuous high drain electrical component ... you can damage the side post hookups ...
  20. knock sensor is in the 'Valley' between the two cylinder banks and is located beneath the intake plenum ... I believe that you have to take the intake off to get at it ... but I have the TBI ... so I wouldn't know for sure ...
