I wonder-Would a 300ZX TT motor fit in my '95 SE?
edicer2 replied to Camera1's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
idk i would just get the sr20det if your gpong to go that route my freind has one in his 240 and that will have plenty of power to pull the pathy around trust me lol plus they are easy to mod and are small you could get a bigger fuel pump and intercooler kit and away you go. -
ha yeah idk what he did i only saw it once lol

i know someone has a large system in his car and he wired 2 batteries in the back but only one of the two yellow top stringer batteries back there is a actual battery. they both look wired up but on is actually torn apart and gutted out and cleaned very well and is used as his illegal drug stash. pretty cleaver I would have never of looked there lol

you can also take a test light and find the positive(constant power) wire, then find the acc wire. Then once you find those two i take a 9 volt battery and take one of the extra wires and touch it to the batter. if you dont hear anything then drop one of the wires and do it again with a different one and so on until you finally hear a speaker make a crackle noise. then you found the two wires for that speaker. then do the same for the other for speakers and the wire left is going to be the ground lo. thats my way if ppl are dumb and dont just buy the 5 dollar harness lol works for me and I have never wrecked anything i personally always just buy the harness

thats werid you defiantly have a problem somewhere else that is causing the tranny to wear out faster the nnormal.

My z has lifter tick on start up and it sounds way different then the bad exhust studs that was on my old pathfinder. the exhuast leak kinda sounds more like a putt noise and the lifter one is alot of more a metal hitting metal type noise my lifter tick goes away right away and the exhuast leak never really did

where is the cup holders on a 92 nissan pathfinder

its useless if u replaced them with new shocks UNLESS you bought replacement adjustable ones that costed alot. go look at your shock and see if it has a wire pluging into it. Like beastpath said it is used to make the shocks firm or less firm lol. As far as the cupholders go its in the lid on the 92 and up i think. I think the 91 and less have the center councle that flips backward instead of forward. SO you should be good mines on the lid in the center councle. I have a extra if he cant find one. -
convert it to the new stuff

ill try to do that if that doesnt work do u have any other suggestions?

I have had a water leak on my 92 pathfinder SE since i bought it. My Old 93 had the same problem so i figured it would be common and some else has figured out how to fix it and where its from. I have water running down the front pilar and driping onto my window control switchs on my drivers side. It come in right at the top of the a pillar and drips down right there or runs down the a pillar. Its getting annoying....Both of my pathfinders have the sun roof and a roof rack, could it be leaking in from them? or is it somewhere else. No water drips anywhere by the sun roof. It only leaks at the top of the a pillar on the drivers side. My old one did it on both sides. What do u guys think? DOor seal, suf roof seal, roof rack hole?

I am going to assume the truck doesnt start now?

sounds like the alternator to me. Your radio cuts out because you arent getting enough power to run it and the air horn. the dash lights are dim for the same reason. Also get your battery checked.
-
thats defiantly not on mine it must be somekind of jimmy rig to make it work. Are you the orginal owener or did u buy it used? My guess is the pervious owner did that. Not sure exactly what its purpose is though

the bacon actually looks real lol

its definatly a bad ground or wireing problem. you should just take it out and rewire it. why do you guys need to use a wireing diagram? They make wire harnesses for less then ten bucks at walmart or something. idk just a thought but its defiantly not wired right i would tear it apart and recheck it. make sure your ground if bolted down had the paint sanded off. Also check to make sure there arent any bare wires showing. Also make sure the cd player isnt over heating and poping fuses that happened in my parents landcruiser. Installing a stereo in our pathfinder takes about 15 mins with the walmart wire harness and 10 of those mins are tring to stuff the wires back there haha. But you shouldnt have to mess with the dimmer switch at all. Hopefully that helps! let us know if it doesnt work after doing those.

my guess is someone took the cluster apart and messed up the position where the needle is suppose to be. thats just me though im guessing that just what it sounds like
-
both my 93 and my 92 do that idk why i am going to lube them up this summer i think they are dry and one of them isnt locking the way it should.
-
you can also just take a screw driver on the side of them and pull the carpet out. the dor jams are felable to a extent. thats what i do i dont evwen bother unscrewing them. if i have small wires i just pull up the side and sick it under there there. normally there is enough room so it lays flat unless your running a thick 4+guage wire under there then it wont lay as flat. I have wired about 23 cars thats wire for stereo. only one we actually went under the carpet was when we had 1guage wire

i had that same problem in my old 93 man i couldnt figure it out it might be a bad pin or something on your little alarm box under your seat. I checked all my pins and took the battery out countless times. then my tbelt asliped and fskced the motor so I parted it out. I do have a brand new remote thinking that was the problem. I never did open it or even use it. Now i can use it on my 92 pathfinder becasue i computer a aftermarket compustar one. So if anyone wants the remote let me know

write up would be cool! i think i like that one the best so far because of the nice cord layout with the cord covers and also just the well planed out with the leds
