  1. No, its still in. Its all so crusted up I'm afraid to try to break any part of it lose, I just need to get a whole new exhaust eventually.

    Codes

Its easy enough to check the codes that you might as well do it. Sounds like it could be a fuel problem to me though.
  3. Its actually been soaking for 3 now. I did beat on the bung (I've been down this route before with a friends Ford Ranger I worked on....with 4 O2 sensors!) and I still dont see it coming out. Part of the issue looks like a PO or a shop tried to remove it with a SAE size instead of metric. I'm gonna be suprised if they can even get it out without cutting it.
  4. Started spraying PB Blaster on my O2 sensor a couple days ago. About 1 thread came out smoothly. Have come to the conclusion that its never coming out, at least not in my garage. So I guess I'll get an estimate on what its gonna cost at a shop. 17 year old OEM part wins again.
  5. Body lift or suspension lift? That thing is awesome. California would never let something like that into the state I bet.
  6. That sounds correct, because my 94 has a different O2 sensor part number than my friends 93.
  7. Not a MDX expert, but have you checked the plug in under the seat? My mom has a VW Turbo Beetle that has heated seats, and after she took it into VW for a service it wasnt working. Low and behold, they took the seat out for some reason and never plugged it back in.
  8. I would be ok with the copper cores or the G-powers. Just the iridium/platinum I would stay away from. Every time I buy a set of NGK's I ask the gap to double check and they tell me they are already gapped. They never are.
  9. I would never use a Iridium/Platinum/24K Gold Plated/Moon Rock (you get the idea) in any vehicle unless the owners manual says.
  10. Blue is good, they are probably NGK wires. Only other blue wires I have seen were Taylor wires that my local Napa used to sell, those were good wires as well.
  11. Nah, what Tungsten posted is pretty easy to use. I like it more than a extension with a magnet on it when working in the engine bay, because the magnet sticks to damn near everything.
  12. Look at the foglight again, is that a little clip on the bottom holding the lens on? You wont have to remove the entire thing, the lens itself should pop off and then you can replace the bulb.
  13. On my 2WD Hardbody my starter solenoid went out and that's how it acted when I tried to start it. No click, nothing. A couple whacks on the solenoid and then it would start.
  14. My pathy one is going back on for now. I got the jy one for 10 bucks, and oreillys said it tested fine. But my idle is all over the place and this morning on the way to work my charge light was popping on and off. Good to know for next time though.
  15. Gonna swap back to the stock alty. I had the Maxima one checked out and they said it was good, but I think something is up with it. My idle is now all over the place. Never had a alternator do that, but it was perfectly fine before the change. What a PITA.
  16. After looking at a Nissan parts diagram, looking at the stock photo of one on the Oreillys website, and you saying that, I'm gonna leave it off.
  17. Pulled my 90 Amp alternator out of a 93 SOHC, and it looks exactly like the alternator in the How-To thread, except for that little wire on the back. Is that some sort of voltage regulator? Do I need it? Is it a small flux capacitor, and if I hit 88 MPH with it will I travel through time? Picture of both alternators, the clean one is the Maxima unit. If nobody can understand which wire I am talking about I can use my brilliant paint skills to show you
  18. But 2 weeks isnt because the Pathfinder is hard to find parts for. Its because your order was overlooked, and you didnt inquire about it until now. If you went with a bushing other than a Energy Suspension, chances are your local parts store could of had them within 3 days. My Autozone can get Energy Suspension bushings, I just chose Summit because the price was cheaper, and I know with a shipping center in Reno/Sparks Nevada, that my parts are 1-2 days of shipping away.
  19. I definitely want to know how they hold up. I'm gonna go the O'reillys route too for the lifetime warranty if yours work out well.
  20. In todays internet world if I dont get a tracking number or delivery update within a couple days of ordering, I call or email. I dont know what buying a Jeep is going to get done, all WD21's are at least 16 years or older, and like any car that age are bound to have a few issues that pop up. Its not your Pathys fault your order was overlooked.
  21. All the Nissans I have owned, if the starter has given me problems, its always been the solenoid. A 94 Hardbody I just kept a long piece of metal in the bed, and if didnt start, I'd just thump the solenoid and it would fire right up. That being said, I normally just swapped the starter, because up until the Pathfinder, they were always super easy to change.

    V-Belts

Same. Plus if I need one same day, my local O'reillys carries Gates, and Gates actually makes belts for Napa.
