  1. Changed the driver side head light bulb. Removed the air filter box for easier access and discovered splashes of mud in the air filter!
  2. R50! But your find does seem like a pretty good deal.
  3. That stinks. Honestly though, I'll bet that IF you don't point out the misalignment most people won't even notice.
  4. Am I correct in thinking that the axel pulls forward as the rear end is lifted?
  5. I believe that the problem with the added height gained would result with the rear axel "pulling" forward. The trailing arms need to be lengthened along with the drive shaft (correct me if I'm wrong SFD'ers) to accommodate the offset.
  6. I can't remember the exact cost of the struts/shocks as I ordered them along with the springs and manual hubs. $930'ish for the whole package delivered I think.
  7. Yes. You will need two for each side (four total). One bolt will give you +/- 2 degrees while two bolts will give you 4 degrees.
  8. I didn't use any boots on my set up. The KYB's didn't come with them and I just didn't want the red boots that came with my Rancho's.
  9. Wow, will do guys. Thanks for the "heads up". I'll make sure to thank you later!
  10. Dang man. I'm eyeballing mud holes while you are out pushing your Pathy to it's limits. I need to find some trails around these parts. So far, my best (legal) bet will be Uwharrie OHV park up in North Carolina. Can't wait for the pics!
  11. Meh' .. that was just bad luck. Do it again and that would be pure stupidity.
  12. At first I read the title to this thread and thought that you meant that you were smoking in your truck and burned a hole in your carpet. Pretty scary scenario you have there.
  13. Wow, moving from North Cakalaki to ND? That should be some sort of culture shock! I have a tranny cooler on mine but, I'm not sure about the whole keeping the fluids warm thing though. My issues are (obviously) keeping her cool when towing the boat. I will be interested in some of the opinions from our neighbors to the north.
  14. Hmmm .. I have had "dirt" come up from my dash defrost vents when the auto fan is on "high". I'm almost scared to look into this.
  15. I have a friend that is mechanically inclined and has all the tools to boot. He did my tb, wp, and all the other belts as a favor for me. All I had in it was the cost of the belts and pump. I ended up buying him some Polk tower speakers for his time. In the end, I think that we were both happy!
  16. Yeah, My 99.5 LE dosn't have them. I had thought about knocking out the plastic inserts that are currently where the filters would go. At this point, though, I think that it would not make that big a difference as I like to drive with my windows down whenever I can. Plus, I'm too lazy!
  17. You can purchase them either as a full set of four or just the fronts or rears.
  18. Goodyear Dura's mang! Rated great in the "snow belt" (although I live in the dirty south). They pull well in the red clay mud down here. They look aggressive. 'Nough said?
  19. There's got to be a good story behind this! Looks like you tried to run over Superman or something?
  20. Shucks, the time might come one day when my R50 will look like that. Happened to my buddys '78 Landcruiser (talk about a TANK!).
